oh just to say I have backing tracks of:

Objects (Fill 10 min version)
AFL (Full Album)

I'll gladly give em to folk if you wish - its all in aid of a good project right? lol
I'm trying "Alive" so I'llpost on when I'm satified with the vocals

I don't know what happened to this track, but it's one I recorded at a charity gig sometime last year, "Bat Out Of Hell". When I imported it into Cubase to edit and mixdown, for some unknown reason, it plays all speeded up so it sounds as if I'm a chipmunk ...

But anyway, as a bit of fun, I've uploaded it

http://rapidshare.com/files/14855757...style.mp3.html

PS> It adds a new style to the track, don't ya think?

Most likely you accidentally messed around with the speed toggle in the main transportation bar. (setting it beyond 100%). Is easily done in Cubase.

Ok don't know if this idea is over before it starts, but i have recorded Piece of the action. I haven't got a backing track so i just recorded the first half of the song vocals only.
Please feel free to take the piss! If anyone has the backing track could you give me a copy somehow cheers!

I don't know if any of you realizes is...but this project IS happening. Maybe it's not on a fancy CD with a fancy artwork...but files are posted right here...

Ok...I am embarassed to death cause I really don't know your name...for me you're Geordie (as in name - not location)...LOL...weird...we've known each other for a while and I don't even know your name...

One thing I have to say...you have an incredibly pleasant voice!!! I really liked your singing.

Thank you very much!

Do you play guitar? If you play guitar (or will learn to play it) with your voice...women will fall left and right and arrange themselves into neat stacks...I think you're married...no matter...LOL...still nice to step over the stacks of women at your feet...LOL

Well i have been wanting to learn the guitar for a while now, never really thought about the women side to it. The wife isn't on this site so i can say yes it does sound like a very good reason to learn!
Although if she happens to read this i might be able to hit those high note's after all, lol!

LOL...women always want what other women want...so don't worry about that...

Seriously speaking...I absolutely meant it when I said that if you could play guitar it would be great! Even if it is only to serenade your wife!

Just a suggestion, might it be an idea to start a new thread for links to songs only? Obviously there's no need for two threads of discussion, but having only listened to a couple of tracks I'm having to search the thread to find the one line links to songs...might be nice to have a thread dedicated just to downloads (uploads?! Something loads!)

Apologies to any mods who think I want to litter up the forum with threads, just wanna make sure you're all working hard

If someone wants to trawl this thread and pull all the links together and PM them all to me ... along with the credits of the "artists" that recorded them. I'll put them all in one clutter free place.
