Not so funny if it's your shopping bag and all its contents have just been ruined.

How gutted am I? Got a phone call late Friday evening offering me 2 x VIP tickets to see the golf on Monday...... and I couldn't go

It was a choice between letting somebody down big time, or going to Wales to watch Meat play golf. The up side though, is that the player on the European team who offered me the tickets got Meat's autograph for me

.... just wish I could have been there.

Got back late last night and havent got sorted yet, but will write more when I do. Meat was amazing. I know a lot was shown on tv but apart from that, everybody loved him. He did himself proud. I didn't hear one single bad word from anyone about him, all weekend is all we heard from people who we spoke to and over heard is that Meat was the best! Meats wonderful, Meats funny, Meats... the list is endless. He has without a doubt gained tons of new fans from this I'm still in amazement as to how wonderful he was. Not that I didn't already know that of course, but sometimes people don't get him. But he was without a doubt, THE STAR of the tournement

I'll try and get some pics online later though. Here's one of Meat with his caddy.

You'd be losing out then Pud. The other ones went for £10 a time

I wont give anyone anything that lets them make money out of Meat by ripping off fans.

Agreed with you Deb, I think a lot of people will be awakened to Meat Loaf's existance again and he'll have gained a fair few fans. It's come at a great time for him with Bat 3 around the corner. The commentators didn't mention the new album much, but I don't think that matters a great deal as he's been brought to the front of people's minds for a while and hopefully they'll see some adverts and buy the new album out of curiosity.

One thing is for sure, he certainly got a lot of comments from the commentators complimenting and noting his loudness, enthusiasm, crowd interaction and appauling putting.

Good job Meat! That's done the world of good for Bat 3. Glad you had a great time Deb, sorry I didn't go. I had work to do and was umming and aahhing about what to do all Sunday and decided against it as I woke up midday on Monday! d'oh.

p.s. Anyone spot hole 18's antics in full? His first two shots landed in bunkers, but neither time did he play from there - somehow, his ball appeared to errm.... disappear and reappear on the fairway. A rare gift. However, the last hole wasn't really taken that seriously I think it may be worth saying!

We missed you Alex Glad you got to see it though.

The album did get some air time though Caryl managed to get an interview with Ben Shepherd that went out live yesterday around 12pm. She got a very cool plug for the album and tour in. Well done Caryl

Myself and Heather managed to plug it all weekend as well lol. So we're sure most there will know about it and it was packed all weekend. There was one point when Meat was signing yesterday and someone asked about a tour or album, I managed to get in that it was out 23rd Oct here and 31st Oct US. Then someone asked again and Meat made me say it again lol. Then he added but Feb the (??) For those in Japan I'm not sure but there maybe a very embarrassing moment when me and Heather got on tv as well lol. It was one of the only times we got exctited about the golf lol as Meat had just got the ball in the hole. (Thats about as technical as I can get, trust me thats good for me as well lol) We came away from the green very excited and someone behind us said something about Meat, so we turned around to have a tv camera right in our faces Not to sure what I waffled as I havent seen it yet, but my dear friend ChrisNI managed to point out the fact we were on tv. I think it was something along the lines of how wonderful Meat is and about the album.

Hole 18 was a fix I think lol. By this time they knew they'd lost and it became more of a comedy show lol. There was one point on another hole when Ian kicked Meats ball away from the bunker I have to say that meat played so much better than his partner on sunday. Richard Schiff. The mans very handsome Infact I'd go as far as to say the most handsome man there And also a very nice friendly man. But he can't play golf that well lol. At one point Chris Evans caddy played for him while Richard Caddied for Chris Which confused the hell out of me and Heather no end.

Apart from meat i;d say the other celeb who made a big impact was Chris Evans. we was dreading him being with meat as he can come across as a ****. But he did wonders for reviving his career. And IMO was the most interactive of any of the celebs with the fans. Very much like the pied piper of Hamlet lol. Which was great for tv, but rubbish for the fans that wanted to floowo Meat as we had half the course following this team all day yesterday lol.

Or it may be that the file is just too big to be converted Have you tried contacting Microsoft Maybe they can help ...

Yes that is the one, but I also get one about being unlawful in certain countries, and copyright. No each file is about 3 gig in size. I can usually break this up into smaller pieces, and convert it to Divx or Windows Media, but it's not having it at all. I have never had this problem before. I have recorded off other channels, even sky, but no. It will let me burn it to DVD though. But warns it may not play on other players, or computers.

LoL. No one of them said something to Meat about the album and stuff that only someone online would really know (cant remember exactly what it was) and the other asked Deborah to sign something... I don;t think people who arent online would know who deborah was. Thats how i guessed anyway lol and I was right

Ups .... did you ring another German girl except me??
Because I did understand you very well (at least afterwards as I was thinking about what you said)

Lots of walking - great
Lots of Meat - more then great
bushes - as long as not the man with that name - great
Lots of golf - I don't know the rules - but great
not enough toilets -
not enough food - that's good for the body
So I think after sum it up the great things won!!

Thanks!

This one needs a caption

I'm actually not sure what was happening here lol, but it was on practise day on sat. Meat and William Baldwin were teamed up with two others, who I think were just to make up numbers This was one of the first pics I took and is one of my favs of the weekend.

To make a chaste caption:

Meat is looking for "the most handsome man there" and can't find him (because he lost his mirror) and Mr. Baldwin and the other man are holding his trousers because his suspenders got broken again - like it did in Toms River
