Rest in Peace, dear Bonnie. The rock concert in heaven is finally complete: Jim, Meat, and Bonnie, together again. Whenever I hear thunder rolling through the sky, I’ll think of you all rocking the heavens.

RIP, a great singer and performer. She was fantastic for Jim Steinman's songs and production.
Total eclipse of the heart and Faster Than the speed of night are two brilliant songs. That and Holding out for a Hero show to show how brilliant and bombastic their work was. |

I wish she and Meat had had the opportunity to do more as a duo than the labels slapping together a compilation in the Eighties or her doing a guest spot on "A Kiss Is a Terrible Thing to Waste" that even Meat himself forgot about. At one point, he considered having her and Lorraine Crosby on what became "Going All the Way"; that might have been great. (Honestly, after Vampires, I'm surprised they didn't do a single version of the "Total Eclipse" duet... Meat finally gets the song that eluded him in a form that allows Bonnie to still mark her territory. Ah well...)
