So apparently NBC is considering the idea of an all-star Celebrity Apprentice... Names suggested in the article (but probably not actually by the makers of Apprentice) include Trace Adkins, Omarosa, Gene Simmons, Lennox Lewis, Meat Loaf, Jesse James, Gary Busey, Marlee Matlin, Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, Marilu Henner and Dennis Rodman.

I personally don't think Meat Loaf would have time to do this... But if he DID, do you think he would WANT to consider the show again?

I hope he considers it. Any money for painted turtle is worth it, and im sure hell be up for the challenge if asked. I mean maybe they will let him do SITS at the finale this time with Trace and Lil Jon!

I mean he did CA last time just before touring the UK, why not again? This time he should win!

I really can't see him wanting to do it again personally; in fact, didn't he say that he wouldn't do it again a while back?

I know Lil jon said he wouldn't. Meat says alot of stuff spur of the moment (IE: playing bat in order). He changes his mind all the time.

I hope he considers it. itd be great to see meat and be excited every sunday night in the spring. It was the reason Spring 2011 was one of the best springs ever!

Dear God, no. Ask around and people will go "Isn't that the show where Meat Loaf went nuts over some paint?"

And how much fun was it again to see Meat come in different TV shows afterwards and only was asked about that incident?

Also a big YouTube hit in many different, never flatting, ways

CA is pulp at it's worst where the producers live for that kind of crap incidents

Thanks God it's done. Now lets hide it away, burry it and never talk about it again!

Its important to note, the leading apprentice forum, Survivor sucks, lists Meat as the 9th best Apprentice contestant in the history of the show! Thats outta 200 contestants from seasons 1 through 12.

I certainly hope not.

CE is horrible. Not even ML could make that show interesting.

And he deserves his pace there. He played with a straight bat, and apart from one small incident, was charming, equable, supportive, funny and worked hard for whatever team he was in.

But imo he's been there, done that. And although he was emotional and grateful during the programme for what he was learning about himself, the finale when Trump cut him off as he was trying to get in the plug for SITS he'd been promised? .. that was a betrayal of trust imo. He owes Trump and the programme nothing.

And one momentary lapse gave him a mountain to climb every damn interview afterwards as Adje says .. and he'll know the programme makers would be trying to contrive a repeat for all they're worth, and edit any footage to try and recreate the same again.

Meat can raise money for The Painted Turtle in other ways. He moves forward, not back. That's the joy of the man imo

Yes I loved being able to see Meat in the programme; enjoyed less the boardroom and his tension as he waited to see what would happen. I think he did brilliantly. But I wouldn't want to see him put himself on that line again just so I could see him on TV And I'm not sure he would wish me to

You don't

I was just expressing my feelings about the show.

This is a Meat Loaf fan board. It's a good thing you post Meat related stuff here. So thank you for posting!

i dont think it was trumps fault. Meat does have his distinguished habbit of talking too much (as hes admitted all the time :P) Meat dd stutter a few times and if something is being filmed live you need to push the pace to get to the stuff thats of the highest importance. Had gary not done his stupid kite thing about omaha steaks, meat wouldve gotten his plug. I dont necessarily think it was trumps wrongdoing. Trump really loved meat on the show. if anyone is to blame its Gary Busey.

I respect celebrities for doing this show to support their charities, but they always edit the show so it is mostly about fighting and conflicts. That is unfortunate.

I disagree, and trying to get a word in edgewise when Trump is determined to prevent you isn't stuttering imo. Meat was promised he would get an opportunity to promote SITS. He did not talk too much on the finale; simply responded to the questions he was asked, because he expected to be given the opportunity he was promised. When it became apparent that this was not forthcoming he tried to introduce it, and Trump spoke over him and prevented him. That was Trump's responsibility; he owns the show. He reneged on what had been promised.

You say in live shows it is necessary to "push the pace to get to the stuff thats of the highest importance." Trump's responsibility should have been to curtail Busey's rambling and given Meat his opportunity. Not Busey's fault at all. Even my dog could spot Busey needs to be managed during a live show I carry no torch for Busey who I find ill-behaved, self-obsessed and irritating, but he was not "to blame" imo; he'll get away with whatever he can, seize and hold attention as long as he can, and Trump knows that. His role was to curtail that. He didn't.

I think blame could also be put on John Rich. He couldve said something, since the shows finale revolved around him and marlee. He knew meat really wanted to do SITS at the finale, but Rich decided "hey, my charity's better then yours meat so well promote the song that benefits solely my charity". The performance blew chunks. no life or charisma in johns souless performance and marlee was plopped in there for no reason.

Numero uno i dont care for John Rich

theres a reason he ranked as low as he did on the contestant tier

Yep me too only watched it because of Meat. I was excited every Sunday night to watch it, and go on to FB to chat with Teamloaf while it was on. I met alot of wonderful people thanks to CA, and I am proud to call them my family. Thank you Teamloaf and I am glad that they decided to carry it on even after the show was over. So thanks Meat for being on there, and showing the rest of the world why your fans love you. Take care of yourself.
