The pic of Meat and Jim together is so great. I really want to see some video but I doubt anyone did it. Thank you so much for all the info Wario.

Great photos. That's like a billion years since there's been a photo of them together.

Saw 5 seconds of Meat doing Bat with Constantine, and a brief "Thank You very much" from JS after Meat introduce Jim as his best friend. (TV)

Great pics of Jim, Meat and Patti. Thanks for sharing. Meat & Patti look younger every time I see them.

So good to see Steinman there, Meat and Jim together has made my day. One of the best duo's in Music, IMHO.

Really wish there was a video, you know it's good when people take to twitter to say how good it is!

Fantastic! (hello again, its been a while since I posted here...)

So happy to see my favourite songwriter be recognised at last, and Meat being there to enjoy it.

It looks like they've been able to put the past behind them and are friends again.

I do hope before BOOH The Musical gets put on (hopefully not too long now!) they record at least an EP together to bring closure to BOOH: The Records properly. Heck, ANYTHING Meat & Jim would be brilliant!

Those guys
This guy - Meat is better.
That guy - Jim is better.
This guy - Meat doesn't need Jim.
That guy - If it wasn't for Jim there wouldn't be Meat Loaf.
This guy - Jimmy can't write anymore.
That guy - Meat can't sing like he used to.
This guy - Meat is this.
That guy - Jim is that.

What those guys will never understand...............

Congrats Jimmy.
No more than you deserve, and a hell of a long time overdue

If this pic is any indication of Meat and Patti's wardrobe for the new tour, I love it!

I think Meat has said before he's not bothered about it.

I think the decisions are just made by a handful of arrogant self righteous people rather than people in the industry itself who would be better judges. I don't think it's a case of someone getting enough backing by people in the industry, it's just down to a handful of self important people like i said. Of course i could be talking complete bollocks lol.

I think it's made by people in the music business with performers they want to promote .. most of those making the politically motivated decisions have a stable of recording artists they represent and want to push. Imo it lacks credibility NOT having a performer who has made the contribution to Rock'n'Roll that Meat has, and he's been eligible for a good few years now. And yes, he has said he's not bothered .. though I hope were they to wake up and select him he'd accept

I was very surprised during the last thread when Meat said how he felt about the R&RHOF, but when I actually took a look at it and saw who was in it, and who wasn't in it, my enthusiasm for the place died down considerably.

Michael Jackson, for instance, may have been the "king of pop" but he wasn't anything I would ever call rock n roll.

I'd still like to see him nominated, and see him accept and be inducted, but i'm not as baffled and outraged at his absence as I was before

its still very rpetigious to be inducted in the general publics eyes.

Hall of oats, Meat, Kiss just to name a few shouldve been in long before RUN DMC

He doesn't look horrible, but he doesn't look entirely healthy, either. Hopefully he's doing ok! It's awesome to see the two of them together again, especially seeing as it looks like they really have put the Bat 3 fiasco behind them
