perfect.

It's ever since Magners and Bulmers, now they'll put ice in anything.

A clever marketing gimmick which fooled me for a while until the penny dropped and I realise that not only was my "pint" of cider in fact half water, I was also ending the evening quite sober!
I'll have a Magners please, no ice. And one for your new barmaid.

An unexcusable state of events.

OK, so that's someone with a pair of hands, legs, hair, and fruit.
I'll see what I can do.

A question that is better left unasked

It's ever since Magners and Bulmers, now they'll put ice in anything.

Someone asked me for ice in a glass of water once.

FFS? Drinking water?
Maybe this is just a cultural thing, but I don't find asking for ice in your water to be unusual at all.

And don't drink cider. It's unusual for people to drink cider in Canada... even more unusual to put ice in any beer.

Than again, in the UK they apparently prefer beer warm...

.... And they STILL have a Queen?

I find drinking water when there's beer to be had most unusual

As for the cider, things need to change for the good of your country.
The drink of the gods
Especially on a hot day.

As for the ice in the beer, it's a bit of a mystery to me too that one.
Blame it on Bulmers and Magners.

Not sure what that's got to do with anything , but yes, we still have a Queen.
In fact, Canada still has the very same Queen

That's coming awfully close to politics though, and check the thread for stuff not discussed in the pub

Relax, I'm just pulling your chain.

However I have no clue what a trodger is.

And to me the Royal Family is just a bunch of rich people that the public still care about for some strange reason, but you're right that's politics...

Back on topic, it's not my favorite, I'll have some wife beater beer (Stella)... Just so I can call it wife beater beer.
