For eg I loved having Dead Ringer as a bonus on BOOH; a song I loved added to so many others, together on one album I could play when I was driving Reminds me of when my Christmas delivery from Waitrose was delivered, and on unpacking it I found an extra large bottle of whisky that I hadn't ordered had been included. When I phoned them they said I shouldn't worry, to just keep it. I don't even drink whisky, but it still put a smile on my face Caryl |

Diversity is the spice of life to be sure.
To me, including Dead Ringer on Bat out of Hell is a stone's throw away from Sony's incessant low-budget best-of compilations of Meat's first three albums. But each to their own. EDIT: No wait, it's exactly the same. I see no difference at all. |

i remember meat saying in an interview that he thought it was a crime that Dead ringer was put on Bat Out Of Hell for the 'revamped' edition.
All of this type of thing is done to make sure it sells, as was the case with the reissued Hits out of hell a couple of years back when it featured AFL and I'd lie for you At the end of it all, there's the choice to buy it or not buy it because it's cheap and easy for a record company to bring out a compilation |

Now that Meat is back with them worldwide, maybe just maybe that attitude will change?? (Hopefully Meat can look past his hatred of Midnite and BBIS in the interests of the material's greater good |

Would be nice to know for those who would like to amend and/or cancel their orders if it's NOT the live version...

I think it's wiser to wait. Amazon.co.uk will drop the price of 13,99 soon enough. Take the HC Deluxe 2cd version. It's only 10,-- UK Pounds at the moment. Unless you must have a print version, Amazon already has the lowest price. This version isn't too 'exclusive' so I can easily wait a month or two to get it under 10,-

It's not the live version on the cd but I couldn't give a flying fig, shame it's the be all and end all for you two coz you're not giving a great 3 disc package a chance. Oh and the print's cool as well, cheers Kev |

What landed on my doormat this morning is great, a nicely packaged selection that bundles together much of what we have individually anyway. Yes, it'd be nice to have everything from the Becaon show, but we haven't so I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it.
Thanks for all your effort at Townsend in helping to make this happen Kev! |

Got my copy today, hearing Rubber, Lie & Amnesty live is great and the packaging as a whole is very good great job on it. As others have said a bit disappointing that Dry Eye isn't on there but it is overall a great collectors item to have.

Is Nothing Sacred was released as a single between Neighbourhood and CHSIB. No reason not to have it on as a bonus.
The mistake of putting the studio version of Red Light on the live disc is pathetic though. |
