The singers who compete on the show often get to perform on the finale. I hope Meat gets to perform in May, perhaps one of the new songs they are working on for HIAH. It would be a great way to introduce the world to the upcoming album. If they perform the song that will be the first HIAH single on the finale in May, maybe it will then get some radio airplay and drum up a lot of interest before the album is released in September.

if mr loaf does get to perform, the smart bet would be to pick a hang cool song... which ever one the record company/promoters/media gets behind if the album is getting rereleased.

(i still think if it rains would make a fine song to releaase)

Looking forward to the the Celebrity Apprentice the countdown is 2 days away. Lots of promo's. And there are news articles on the web. Not so sure how many people are eager to watch Meat on the show. Should a new thread be started about Celebrity Apprentice talk or is this one good enough to post comments about the show?

I'd go for that, being someone who won't be able to watch it on TV. I'd much prefer a thread here rather than Twitter, which with its character restrictions seems to be for short announcements/comments. Not everyone uses Twitter, particularly as Meat's messages are shown here as news. Twitter would be fine for showing support on the internet at large, but I don't see it as the best means for those of us who can't watch the show to be able to enjoy it at a distance.

If a thread is clearly labelled, any who don't want to read accounts of the shows can avoid it; those of us who do can enjoy it; those who want to question Meat's appearance on the show, or speculate as to what will come out of it for him can continue to post on this thread

As soon as the reviews come in we can start a new thread, seems a sensible break point.

As for getting some twitter exposure, I don't see any harm for those who use twitter to agree a hashtag to try and get Meat trending.

I know the NeNe Leakes people are already starting #teamnene so #teamloaf really cannot hurt. As for the character restrictions on Twitter, I like the challenge. Makes you be pithy in your comments.

However, all I was saying was that it makes it not the best medium for interesting and informative accounts of what went on for those unable to see the programme.

How about the best of both worlds then! Tweet #TeamLoaf and read here for the play by play medium. Painting a visual picture here, if you will, for Meat and The Painted Turtle :)

After doing a quick search there is some sort of #TeamLoaf trend out there, but I can't figure out the cause or reason. However if we post on facebook that we started to trend #TeamLoaf in support of celebrity apprentice, we should get a few number of people having some fun ! Give that #teamNeNe a bit of a run eh?
