Hopefully someone can be nice enough to tape it and send it to you. I don't have a DVR so I can't tape it and send it to you. All I have is an old-fashioned VCR.

Re-read these sentences. Do you notice something?

I believe Meat is open minded, ever learning, and entitled to change his opinion.

Indeed .. and entitled, after he's fulfilled his obligations, to admit the whole process of delivering a piece of work was an unmitigatingly bad experience for him. Most of us can look back with regret or disappointment on things we've had to follow through because we've committed to them; not all of us disclose that, nor have it brought up repeatedly to cast doubt on what we move on to do in the future.

I don't believe we'll ever see Meat swallowing down wriggling grubs in the jungle! .. but I can see the appeal of testing himself on the Apprentice whilst at the same time earning for a charity he has such respect for. Might it have some general positive PR spin-off? Who knows? Meat thinks little of any significance, that these shows are quickly forgotten, and has said this was not his motivation for doing it.

I think his integrity stands up well to the intense scrutiny some put it under. My view is that those lucky enough to be able to watch the programme will see him do very well on it.

That's okay but he should not attack his fans for having trusted him, looking forward to the album and spending their hard-earned money on it a few years after he extensively promoted it as something great. People who didn't know the background were insulted because they did not understand why Meat slated Bat III in interviews and dared to say that they like the album. Changing one's opinion is fine but having a go at people (fans!) who are not responsible for any bad experiences the making of the album caused him is highly unfair.

After seeing him go off in the trailer I'm afraid he will appear like certain other participants. I'm still hoping that it was not serious, a misleading edit or that he was just acting the tantrum for some reason but recalling previous shows, I tend to doubt that.

Okay, maybe it's "normal" these days that people, even "celebrities" behave that way in public, maybe that's what is considered good entertainment. I have to admit that I like to listen to what Trump says - but some of the candidates... Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I'm not keen on witnessing Meat fighting with Gary Busey or someone else on TV. I watched a movie with Busey today and I kind of like him (he makes good villains ) and I hope he didn't make a fool of himself on that show.

Some people will probably think that Meat angrily yelling at someone is somehow "cool" but I want to admire artists for their talents, I don't need to be "entertained" by that kind of behavior.

The one thing that has come from the brief trailers I have seen for this is that Busey doesn't even sound like the man who played some great villains in different films.

He just sounds like a man that the 'rock n roll lifestyle' (apart from playing Buddy Holly I don't think he's performed musically in anything, though I'm sure I'll be corrected) has caught up on, which is sad.

He attacked his fans? I didn't see that. He's said here he hates the album, and pretty soon explained why. This site represents relatively few of his fans surely in the greater scheme of things, and I saw no attacks on fans in the press or in interviews.

I loved and still love the album (and there were plenty here who didn't .. so I can't see they would have been insulted, apart from him releasing it!). I understand why Meat feels the way he does, and that doesn't insult me. If someone looks forward to the album, buys it and likes it, why should that change?

If anyone read an interview where Meat "slated" the album (and I think in any I saw he explained why) I see no reason for them to interpret that as an attack, nor for them to change their mind about what they like to listen to, nor for them to feel they wouldn't "dare" to say to a friend that they like it.

Well what we've seen IS a brief edit. I'd prefer to watch the show before I pass judgement. I've also seen edits which show Meat working and joking with people coming into a pizza parlour, which could be more indicative of his contribution.

I've just seen him yelling at Busey not to get in his face .. hardly "fighting". He used his "Meat Loaf" character and that's probably why that edit was chosen. From what Meat has said I have the impression he worked hard and competed whilst having fun, learned a lot, enjoyed doing it, and was pretty successful.

I don't .. but I do accept it as an very short edit chosen by those promoting the programme and not necessarily indicative of Meat's showing as a whole. So far I've seen more affability than anger from him in edits made public. This particular one may make a lot more sense when seen in context. Did he lose his cool, or did he simply give Busey an effective and deserved warning not to behave like a jackass? It will become clear when the episode airs.

He did. He called people names on here (not single people but an entire group of fans) because of the Bat III issue. (That was before he explained why he dislikes the album.) It was one of the reasons why I left this forum for a while and seriously considered putting my Meat Loaf collection on eBay.

Well if anything, the clip got everyone talking (one way or the other) and I'm sure it has Celebrity Apprentice enthusiasts excited for this season as well.

Caryl, I have you verbally covered and I can imagine that the episodes may be uploaded on youtube by the time I get it all typed out. :)

Wow. Imo y'all need to chill out. He's one man. He's not perfect and not a god. If you don't want to watch it don't. If you do, more power to you. Meat did the show and its over now. At the end of the day, its his choice, not yours. Maybe it opened the doors for a role meat really wanted, or allowed him to make this new album he's working on. God....sometimes I wonder....

No one is going to say what he should or what he should not do. But if he does something, e.g. appearing on a TV show, you have the right to have an opinion about it.

People will be able to watch them online at NBC.com, but I don't know if that's available in the UK Other than that, NBC has an official channel on YouTube, so hopefully the episodes on there as well.

I like the show, so I'll watch. And Meat Loaf yelling doesn't bother me. If someone makes me mad enough, I will yell. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened. If you don't like it, don't watch. If you don't like anything going on with Meat Loaf, well, there is an opening on the Justin Bieber fan site.

Are we forgetting that Meat Loaf is a VERY VERY emotional person? He cares deeply about what he does, so if Gary provoked him (as I'm SURE he did), Meat's gonna get animated. That's not weakness at all. We don't know the context, but we know Busey is insane and Meat is very emotionally involved, so add two and two.

I personally am looking forward to this show, and it will no doubt wake up some Meat fans that this man hasn't mellowed AT ALL. That's a good thing.

I assume that's one of the characteristics of reality TV. It features people whose personalities will inevitably clash in certain circumstances so that the audience and the media have something to talk about. I neither think that it's fair nor am I excited about it. Well, that's contemporary "entertainment", I guess.

Seeing Meat yelling doesn't bother me in the least, and I certainly don't see it as a sign of weakness. If anything, the clip makes me even more curious to watch the show and see what Gary Busey said (or did) to get him so upset. To each their own I guess

Last night, while out and about clubbing around town, I had a few different people let me know they planned on watching Celeb Apprentice because they wanted to see Meat Loaf on the show - most of them did not watch before. Getting out of the superfan cloud, people thought it was exciting to actually see him in a commercial and going to be on a show they could watch.
