Default I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us in 2007

Man. 3 Bats Live DVD with this wouldve been great.

2007 standards, he sounds pretty good. arrangement kicks serious ass.

You're out of your tree! Meat sounds terrible, much worse than 3 Bats Live. This was a couple of days before Newcastle so it's understandable. Now if this arrangement was brought back into the set with a healthy Meat then I'd be a bit more interested.

I don't think he sounds bad at all. Not at his peak, certainly, but not at ALL bad. I love this tune :)

Its cool to hear a more recent version of the song. It actually makes me like the song, period. Anything he sings the way he sounds now seems to have that effect on me lol.

That said, i don't see the point of bringing something from 2007 onto the forums just so everyone can shit all over it. we know it was a tough time. take it for wat it is.

I was at that concert. Meat didn't sound perfect but better than on many other 2007 shows. He was obviously fighting too much, you can hear that on this recording, too. His singing consists of a lot of screaming but I don't want to criticize him for that because I saw him on stage that night - it was a bit tragic but impressive at the same time. It was great to hear that song live, even if Meat wasn't in a very good shape then. All in all, and considering the circumstances, he did a good job anyway.

Meat should consider doing this song again this tour. Great song!

My favourite song - great to hear it live, health issues aside. If he did it now, it would be phenomenal!

What did you expect? Posting videos here is like putting a big sign up: "Hey, red pony, look, there's something you might disapprove of and want to be deleted."

Wario, with all due respect you are punishing yourself, it's almost uncomfortable to watch. You hit send, you post it here, it's gonna' get Red Pony on it. When are you going to learn?

I was thinking exactly the same thing Suzie.
No offense Wario, but maybe it's time you finally took the hint and didn't post anything

Well, Meat Loaf himself has said this is going to happen. You have no one to blame but yourself now. Meat has said high res vids are coming...relax until then. You are foolish to complain when the owner or something follows through with a promise to delete something they own and then do it.

"Sacrifice"??? I better not ask...

Regardless of what we think about the issue of deleting videos and regardless of whether Meat really has any rights to the material he requests to be removed from YouTube - why do you do this? He obviously has a problem with many of these videos, yet you upload them again and again in places where he will surely find them. And then you complain that they get removed... Neither he nor the fans will benefit from it in the long run if you repeatedly act against his wishes. Although I'd like to see many of the videos remain, I think that this behavior is pretty selfish and inconsiderate. It's like saying "I don't give a shit if you like it or not, I'll upload your performances to YouTube anyway". I'm afraid this will rather make him develop an even more disapproving attitude towards such videos instead of leading to understanding for the fans' desire to watch / hear / share interesting recordings.

Having recently watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade I think a line in it is very apt: 'Ask yourself. Why do you seek the cup of Christ? Is it for His glory, or for yours?'

That does seem apt. Was it Ghandi who said that a sacrifice wasn't sacrifice if it caused sorrow to the doer? Wario, instead of thumbing your nose by repeatedly posting videos which Meat will have removed and then announcing it, you could use the time you'll save not reloading 400 odd vdeos to Youtube in doing something for people in real need .. that would be sacrifice.

As Sarge has said, to steadfastly continue to do something Meat has said he wants stopped helps no-body. It just leaves dozens of threads with links on this forum which will pull up a removed notice, plus could continue to fuel debates with little profit as to whether Meat is entitled/reasonable/sensible etc to have rhem removed. Who is on your sacrificial bonfire?

Doesn't that require a sacrifice from another?
