Zodiac. A very well put together and absorbing film. Fascinating.

Default Last movie I Saw

The last movie I saw at the movies was

War Horse it was fantastic one of the best movies i have seen in a long time!! My son who is 13 picked it and I sort of (rolled my eyes and went ohhh ok) But it was fabulous though the friends I went with all cried!! Bunch of sook babies (men mind you!!)

Absolutley loved it and can't wait to own it on DVD.

was looking to rent Rocky Balboa as my girlfriend hadn't seen it (i've seen all of them several times at this stage)

Ended up buying the entire box set for €13 Euro, but still watched the most recent one.

It's really good, Thankfully it has more in common with the first two films rather than IV and V

Catch 22
Interesting film
Strangest part is, I can imagine most of it actually happening

Friday the 13th ~ Part 3 ... lol ... How many dang hatchets did they have scattered around that farm, anyways ? ... lol ... I prefer Jason with his huge machete ... (go on... it's just lying there... hahaha ) and just crash, booming about... I didn't like him doing the search of the barn ... That's just so NOT Jason ... lol ...

Oh, oh ... update... Husband and I set aside a movie date at home ... lol ... and we watched The King's Speech ... I didn't think it would be something he'd like but at the end when I turned to ask him how he liked it... and found him with tears running down his cheeks ... lol ... I knew he had !!! It was EXcellent, imo ... His Highness going about out loud practicing his speech and tossing in all the cussing ... PRICELESS !!! Fine job !!

Then... after husband was off to bed... I treated myself to a zombie film... lol ... ummm ... The Next 28 Days, I think is the title ? I enjoyed it pretty muchly ! ...

Next on our list is Red, I think.

Iron Sky

It was awesome. It was full of references to Babylon 5, StarTrek and other movies (of course). I didnīt catch every references but I laughed my head off.

I saw drive last night.... An he and a half of my life I'll never get back. I found it boring and nothing to do with driving lol. It was cool from a film making/camera work point of view though, but I couldn't follow the story line. Ask me what the movie was about and I'd just say some woman gets her head blown off with a shot gun.

Then I saw the 3 muskateers... I enjoyed that one, had some laughs in it and lots of sword fights!

Watched The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy last night. Despite the incredibly strong cast (especially Martin Freeman as Arthur Dent) it just doesn't catch the magic of the books, the radio series or the original TV series.

Completely agree, took me two goes to see it through to the end.

Watched Troy last night, not bad, won't set the Oscars alight but was a fun watch

The Bridesmaids is still the last film I watched... I kept seeing ads about the series on Showtime, The Big C ... and I'm hooked on that !!! All the first season is on On Demand... I'm finished the fourth show and still really enjoying it... It makes me laugh out loud... weep a bit at times and say "oh my gawd"... and then laugh... aLOT ... lol ... xo

The Victors starring George Hamilton and George Peppard. Very interesting war movie, although there were some sudden "jumps" in the plot and you didn't know what had happened in between. I read that the movie was allegedly withdrawn and edited, maybe the temporarily incoherent plot had something to do with that. (?) I wonder why James Mitchum (who is the spitting image of his dad) didn't make it big.
