Yes - he certainly did perform BAAB

I attended the RVP & had a truly enjoyable time with Deb, Lou & Caryl. Meat was on towards the end of the 1st half of the show. As has already been said the stage was set up in the style of the 'dead-ringer' video. Meat performed BAAB first followed by DR with Jamelia. I thought that the pairing of Jamelia & Meat was great & they both got into character. Whilst singing Meat was prowling around the stage & got up on top of the 'bar' etc, which was fun as some of the other performers just stood relatively still by their microphones at the front of the stage.

It was a wonderful experience to see Meat finally performing at the RVP after all these years

I also enjoyed Rod Stewart & Take That were ok But some acts, such as Ken Dodd, were IMO awful!

Unfortunately, I didn't get near Meat, but Lou was able to get an autograph when he was leaving the Coliseum.

I'm so pleased that Meat was able to perform at the RVP - it was great promotion & I'm sure that Prince Charlie really enjoyed Meat's contribution to the show

I think Prince Charles was glad to see Meat perform at the RVP as he missed him at Party in the Park

It was wonderful to be there, all of us posh-frocked to the nines to see the man Jonathon Ross introduced as one of the greatest rock legends perform. A lovely special end to BAAB and Meat sang his ass off in Dead Ringer to reach every nook and cranny of the Coliseum! I saw that man in the pink jacket at the fruit machine .. and wondered if it was Kasim :) .. From my elevated position in one of the highest crannies it was difficult to tell :)

Lovely evening we shared .. and yes, Meat was great up on the bar dancing

It was a good show all round .. but the highlight for us was obviously the man himself. And a number of people I spoke to during the interval and after the show said how much they'd liked the new song they hadn't heard before .. I'm sure they always include all the main acts in the TV show .. and yes Heather, I too hope that it proves a really strong promotional opportunity for Meat.

All in all a truly memorable evening. Very special and an honour to be there and tuck it away in my memories.

This is really good news. The RVP is a big show in the UK. As has been said, I hope they give the performance of BAAB and Dead Ringer the TV time it needs and deserves. It's really good news that Meat is fit and well too. Great news! I can't wait to see the show!

Unfortunately Ken Dodd was the one who died on Monday!

I was looking forward to his set as I've seen him before and he was really funny but he was sadly lacking (and too long) that night.

Probably because he had to clean up his act a bit for TV and the Royals, the one time I've seen him he was hilarious but extremely adult

I don't that was it as I've seen him before on TV. His last musical part was plain embarrassing. I thought it was sad to see him like that when he's such a legend.

Hopefully when it's televised, they'll cut his set down and only show the funniest parts.
