Default Nowhere Fast (Black Cat, White Cat)

Hi!

Have you seen the Black Cat, White Cat in cinema or TV? This Yugoslavian film is a fantastic comedy about gipsies from Emir Kustorica. In 20st minute a girl's dancing to a song. This song is Nowhere Fast from Street of Fire. It was a big suprise when I was watching TV...

I guess it's a cover from Meat's song.

Who is better, Meat or Steet of Fire?

Default Streets of Fire

I think Meat was the second one to do Nowhere Fast, after Streets of Fire. Of course, I may be wrong. I prefer Meat's voice, but I prefer the lyrics of the Streets of Fire version.

Streets of fire version is really rocking and is almost always the first song i put on. I always imagine meat on a stage singing it. Typical Steinman lyrics and melody. I love the piano part during the chorus, simple but very effective.
10/10

I have a live version of this song! Live it is better than the original!

i have heard the live version from your site Michel and i have to say that it is rather disappointing. i cannot explain why, but i did not get excited about it. Meat sings good but i miss something...
