I don't know if this post is allowed to be posted where it deals with other artists and all. But I was wondering which CDs, tapes, LPs, singles you may have?

I will post mine shortly, I just have to write them down, cuz there is a fair amout of them.

(mixes don't count (the ones you make at home don't count)

CDs

Matthew Good - Avalanche (10\10) Music over lyrics, but SUPER!

Green Day - Dookie (10\10) 90's Punk Rock at its best

Meat Loaf - VH1 Storytellers Audio CD (10\10) Simply Entertaining!

The Offspring - Ixnay On The Hombre (9.5\10) awesome for skater rock Normally don't like this style, but cool!

The Offspring - Conspiracy Of One (8\10) Sounds like their "Americana" feels the same too. Some great songs though Americana was better. Also this album shows some pure emotion from lead singer Dexter Holland, on "Denial Revisted..."

Meat Loaf - Bad Attitude (10\10) Meat, darker, haunting tracks astounding! Too bad its so short!

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory (9\10) Well put together, great for what it is.

Green Day - Nimrod (9\10) The somewhat creativeness of Green Day, no complaints.

Whitesnake - 20th Century Greatest Hits - (4\10) Only heard the two songs, ON MY OWN & GUILTY OF LOVE. I like them, haven't bothered with the rest yet

Meat Loaf - Dead Ringer (10\10) Vocals perfect for excellent songs, lovely! Has this sound I just can't push the button. Only downer is the chorus to the opening track.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell (11\10) Full of leaps, a killer record, great sound since it starts and till it ends! Taken me for a ride!

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell remastered (2 bonus tracks) track "bolero" is really good, but "live BOOH" is just great. just the bonus tracks (7.5\10)

Various - Dumb N Dumber Soundtrack - nice soundtrack excluding 3 tracks, with the participation of Todd Rundgren! (8\10)

Meat Loaf - The Very Best Of (9.5\10) All awesome songs, but some should be taken out and replaced.

Our Lady Peace - Gravity (7\10) Too short, I think they rushed.

Green Day - Warning (9\10) Like Nimrod, but shorter, shows some more talent.

Meat Loaf - Couldn t Have Said It Better (11\10) Like always the music sets the beautiful lyrics and amazing vocals!! Not one second is bad.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell II - Back Into Hell (11\10) What a come back record!! True Stein-Rock. A more magical feeling than the previous, and OBJECTS is so haunting!!

Meat Loaf - Welcome To The Neighborhood (9\10) You know, I feel its good, and sometimes I feel, urm what happened here? But there is definetly some songs on here I really like. I guess its all mood.

Green Day - Insomniac (8\10) Similar to "Dookie" but lacks something.

Pink Floyd - The Wall (10\10) Super Floyd record, great all through! Shoulda been longer seeing how you can fit the 2 cds on 1 cd. Perhaps just 30 seconds too much.

Sam Roberts - We Were Born In A Flame (10\10) Great Ol' Canadian
Rock, canadian version with bonus track. Not one bad second. Fun, bouncy, sad Hard.

Nickelback - The Long Road (10\10) Rock N Roll, a great hard rock album, and if you were to define hard rock to someone, this is it!

Cradle Of Filth - Damnation And A Day (11\10) Super awesome music, very poetic, awesome art! Very Gothic, and a storyline like THE WALL. Divideded into 3 songs for each of the 4 chapers. 3 chapter openers, narrerated and some instrumentals! an opening track, and a closing track.

Linkin Park - Meteora - Haven't heard it in a while, don't plan on it at the moment. (6\10)

Final Fantasy - Big Ones (9\10) Some great game music, not like Mario, but orchestrations, with a mix of japanese and english vocals. Super!

Nirvana - Unplugged In New York (10\10) Amazing live album, great variety of covers and previous all acoustic. And Kurt as his fans know him, his quiet humour. The kind you have turn you speakers up to hear him Also the cover of WHERE DID YOU SLEEP LAST NIGHT, shows off some great vocals by Kurt Cobain!

The Clash - London Calling (10\10) - Liking it more every day! Full of variety. The best Punk Album I've ever heard! Very political in some tracks. Variety of different styles!

Sam Roberts - The Inhuman Condition (9\10) The mini-album that made Sam noticed! Some older versions of the tracks that are on the new album plus 3 songs that aren't on any other album!

The Offspring - Americana (9\10) This is a really good album, some great guitar in it.

Cradle Of Filth - Lovecraft & Witchearts (9\10) A 2 CD Mess Of Rather than a Best of says lead singer, Dani Filth. Love Craft CD is some great songs they've played on their previous 4 albums. As for Disc 2 Witchearts is all Covers & remixes. Some awesome remixes, and HALLOWED BE THY NAME is a feverish cover, incredible!! The only thing that puts this album down a little is the techno in it, I still haven't got use to it yet.

Nirvana - In Utero (9.5\10) An amazing Nirvana album, quite possibly the best thing they have ever done. Some brilliant lyrics, music, full of funny and heart break. Some variety of Nirvana here,

The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits (9\10) A really nice album some nice hits on here. Especially TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT. I would love to do that song live sometime. I never thought I was an Eagles fan till I played this album 4x then I started to like them a bit more.

Tapes

Queen Live At Wembly (?\10) haven't heard all of it.

Roger Daltrey - Rocks In The Head (?\10) havent heard it yet, gettin 2 it.

April Wine - Power Play (?\10) still getting to it. haven't heard it

Shawn Eatmon - Shawn Eatmon (8.5\10) My uncles tape, a great piece with his vocals, lyrics music, and my aunt does backgroundsinging.

Billy Joel - Storm Front (?\10) haven't heard any of it yet, cept, "we didn't start the fire" which is super.

Edwin McCain - Honor Among Thieves (?\10) haven' heard it yet, except Alive, which I really like!

Asia - Live In Moscow (?\10) haven't heard yet

U2 - Rattle And Hum - U2 (?\10) haven't heard yet

Asia - Then And Now - (?\10) haven't heard all yet

Asia - Alpha (9\10) only heard the first half, but it sounds great!

LPs

Supertramp - Breakfast In America (8.5\10) haven't heard all of it, but nice!

Various - Winners (8.5\10) some great 70's tunes, nice to have!

Nazareth - Greatest Hits (9.5\10) True 70's hard rock!

Meat Loaf - Dead Ringer (9.5\10) sounds better on record.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell (11\10) An original, not too roughly beaten,
but lovely copy of Bat Out Of Hell made from the 70's!

Foreigner - Records (8\10) only heard a few songs from it so far, they are really good!

Bonnie Tyler - Faster Than The Spped Of Night (?\10) haven't heard enough to know!

Bob Seger - Nine Tonight (9.5\10) great live record, another 1\3 of my favourite live CDs.

Bob Seger - Against The Wind (?\10) haven't heard it yet, waiting for Bat III First.

Bob Seger - Stranger In Town (10\10) Favourite Bob Seger record, full of super amazing Rock N Soul.

Bob Seger - Let It Rock (10.5\10) I love this record!! It is so Bob Seger, there is only one song on it, that I just "sort of like"

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon (9\10) - An awesome record, and I will probably get to like it more the MORE I hear it. A really fantastic piece

AC/DC - For Those About To Rock (9\10) Haven't heard it all yet, but it is definetly an ACDC classic.

Singles

Meat Loaf - Couldn't Have Said It Better (10\10) A nice single, awesome song, the radio edit was edit decently :) and the rare track "Unsaid" is pretty good.

Sam Roberts - Where Have All The Good People Gone (9.5\10)
I don't think this song should have been edited, o well, the Acoustic Remix of Brother Down is an incredible part of my collection. Takes the song to another level! WOW

It'd take all day to list all mine, I've got 300+ cds and 150+ albums and that's before I even start on the tapes, 7" and 12" singles in my collection

Over te last few months I've realised that more and more of my collection is linked to Meat in one way or another - albums produced by Todd Rundgren, albums with musicians on who've worked with meat in the past and so on.

main artists are (in no particular order):

Meat
Steinman
Springsteen
Stones
U2
Lindisfarne
Whitesnake
Kati Mac
Lightning Seeds
Iron Maiden
Magnum
Kasim
Mick Jagger
Jools Holland
Pink
Dido
and many many more....

I have hundreds of CDs/LPs/tapes, but here is what is currently stacked next to the CD/tape player in my kitchen- these are favorites:

Meat Loaf: It's Live for You (And That's the Truth) 1995 boot taped in Toronto- has the best version of Everything Louder I've heard- this is played a LOT!

Meat Loaf: Welcome to the Neighborhood

Meat Loaf: Bat 2

Meat Loaf: CHSIB (US version)

Lou Reed: New Sensations

Meat Loaf: Anything to Live early 90's bootleg

Meat Loaf: Storytellers

Indigo Girls: Indigo Girls

Simon and Garfunkel: The Concert in Central Park

Meat Loaf: Live at Wembly

Lou Reed: Street Hassle a classic- there are lines in Slipaway that only the almighty Lou could pull off. Raunchy and loud, but one of my favorites

The Velvet Underground: Live at Max's Kansas City

Meat Loaf: CHSIB UK single CD

Public Enemy- Fear of a Black Planet I love Chuck D, but Flav gets on my nerves!

Kasim Sulton: Quid Pro Quo This is another one that gets played daily- I especially love "Sacrifice" and "One True Thing".

Lou Reed: Growing Up in Public

Common Bond- The Journey I doubt that anyone here has heard of them- they are identical triplet bluegrass gospel singers. Great harmonies.

James Taylor- Live Ya gotta love Sweet Baby James!

The Alarm- Strength My mid-80's obsession with the Alarm still has a hold on me!

The Alarm- Declaration- the soundtrack of my life when I was 16

The Clash- Combat Rock

Tracy Chapman- Tracy Chapman Another favorite of mine- I never get tired of it

John Mellencamp- The Lonesome Jubilee

Whew, I seem to have a very cluttered kitchen! Anyway, that's whats on "heavy rotation" in my collection!
