Nice find thank you.

It is a different mix yeah, Meat, Bob Kulick and Paul Jacobs remastered the original recordings for some of the single releases, going back to the original intentions of how the songs should sound from the recording sessions, rather than how they ended up on the album. The full story straight from Bob's mouth is available in a recent issue of RVM, back copies of which are still available at a reasonable price PM me for details

I have no idea who bobloblaw324 is, but like many in the youtube community he fails to acknowledge where he gets things from.

So I'll fix that here:

- VHS Video kindly supplied by David Smith aka "scaramouche" on Rockman
- VHS -> DVD and rip to video file done by me

Yes, this is the same file I hosted and which Pudding put in his blog.

I love this video I wish I had this and Modern Girl. I know I can dl it from Pudding's page but being mp4 and having to use the V Player this comp has a hard time with it so I can't dl it. From what I saw I would not want a copy cause of the line and the top of page drowning out the music....maybe just maybe one day this will get put on a dvd.....Fingers crossed.....with the rest of ML videos...Here's hoping and dreaming. Btw If this guy took the video off of Puddings page wonder where he got Modern Girl from?

Just google for "download youtube video" and you'll find web sites that do that for you. You end up with an "FLV" file and you'll need a (free) player for that.

Or just get it from Pudding's blog. Direct link to the video here -

It's The version from the cd cause the video had some bad sound to it. Plus the song went 10 seconds over.

First I want to thank you for sharing this. I really like Steinmans sound.

But...

Now a personal comment about youtube videos, no attack against you blackkat13:

I am so sick and tired of youtube videos like this "Steinman Version": Taking a video that has no direct connection to the music. Okay this one isn't so bad, because in the beginning, there is a sentence about that.
But there are so many "videos" (making of the monster is loose) with the bat3 songs (seize the night, baab, etc) online!

I really hate such "Cut" work.

Once again: I am gratefull for viewing the Surfs up video of Meat, and of listening the Steinman song version, but not a combination of both.

No Offence thanken it's just a buddy of mine told me about Steinmans version and I wanted to compair them. My friend Steve told me Steinman version you can understand the words better. I like the song but figured it would be good to have people compare them(henz the using of the video). I don't like most of the videos on youtube depending what they are. Since Steve told me about few of Jim's song I dl the songs from Bad 4 good and a few from Pandoras Box. I like a few of them and it is nice to hear the beggining of Left In The Dark still think that should have been left in ML version. As far as BAAB I did make a video for it using Pelts cause it worked well. I don't like looking at a pic for a few minutes while the song plays. BTW Which BAAB are you talking about? If It is mine I did it in fun and for people like me that like the song and Horror Movies and shows. It is never to be taking serious as a Offical video. I am getting sent that question quite a bit on youtube.

A problem on youtube is, that you have to upload videos and you can't upload just audio files, right?
