Default DIST arrived in german cd-stores!

Today I got my DIST-maxi-cd.

It contains:

-DIST album version

-DIST radio edit

-Decadent wish (sounds like anything between Bat 1 & 2)

-Lawyers, Guns and Money (would be something for Blues Brothers III )

Although Lawyers, Guns and Money is more spoken than sung, there is nothing that would have disappointed me and we all know, that the "chicken skin"-stuff isn't sold on the very same maxi-cd .

Can't wait for 3rd of march!

Bye!

Is there much difference between the actual version and the radio edit?

Radio Edit: 4:25 Min

Album Version: 6:05

Main differences:

- a instrumental part in the middle of the song

- song starts with : "So this is what it feels like..."
than continues with "this is what it sounds like"

- song ends with the beginning line "so this is what it fells like..."

Yeaaaah, yeaaaaaah, yeaaaaah!!! I bought the DIST single today and I love it! I liked the single version of DIST, but the album version sounds even better! Yes, and there's also a second new song on the single called "Decadent Wish"! How could I describe it? Mmmh...I think in parts, it sounds like "Where The Rubber Meets The Road". This is the song, you can compare it with. But it also sounds several. And it sounds good! As far as I know, DW won't be on the album. This is why it seems to be a B-side track. I've read at the inside of the single cover, that DIST appears on the current album "CHSIB", but I've read nothing about DW.

The live version of "Lawyers, Guns And Money" is also on the DIST single, adapted from the Storytellers concert!

It may not be released in England. DIST may have been relaesed in Germany only due to being used as the theme song for the TV show.

I hope they will put Anything for love performed at night of the proms as a b-side as well on one of the other singles. :)

You got full quality versions of those NOTP songs, or those "recorded from audience" ones?

Radio / television recordings and audience recordings. From the radio and television recording of paradise, there are parts missing.

Any chance you could send me that? :)

I received the single today, which I ordered on amazon.de. Have to say that the album version just has the bit of extra that was needed to make it from a good song to a perfect song :)

Also Decadent wish is great imo. Decadent wish would do better on the radio than Did I say that to be honoust, cause decadent wish is easier to listen too. But who cares if Did I say that is a success on the radio etc? As long as Meat makes what the real fans like him to. :)

I personally would rather see another live recording then Lawyers, guns and money. Something that isn't released yet, like a night of the proms recording or some other live footage.
