Might I make a slight suggestion for everyone to consider? When you are quoting a previous post that includes pictures, you might want to consider not including the pictures in the quote. This would make for much faster loading of some of the forum pages by people with dial-up connections. This is just a suggestion. Also, would save bandwith from the sites where the pictures are stored.

Hmmm ... your webbrowser loads them only once, even if they visible 25 times on a page.
Well that is, if your browser installation isn't borked. |

Very good point Herr Driskell!
I'm poor and only have a Dial-Up connection (56kbps to be exact) and everytime someone puts a 2 metre square picture of Meat - that's blurry anyway, my computer nearly has an heart attack. So ask yourself first 'Do I really need to add this picture of Meat Loaf, just because I'm rich and have broadband?" If I could also make a suggestion; wouldn't it be possible to have a fans picture page somewhere, so they can upload their pictures and then just add a link to said picture in their post?. Is that do-able? Pud:o] |
