This looks a bit dubious, yet it's for sale on Amazon.

It's legal, but it's still basically a bootleg. There is a legal loophole that allows the release of U.S. broadcasts after some period of time.

Sound quality seems decent from the clips, as I would expect from a radio broadcast.

Released by whom though? Who is this TAJ? Are they in possession of the original material or just chancing their arm and selling the bootleg many of us already have? I bet my arsehole that they don't have permission to use the Meat Loaf font.

For the sake of 99p I can confirm that this is a piss take. It's just the bootleg CD that's been doing the rounds for years. If anyone buys this then they need their head examining.

They don't have the original material; as you said, they're just selling the same old bootleg. It's a pity they get away with it. There are lots of people who buy these releases- you'd be surprised. Either they don't realize they aren't official releases, or they don't know where/how to get the boots. Other people are swayed by the packaging. Some people will just buy anything.

There are a lot of Springsteen "releases" of this type out there as well. I wonder if the legal status of them will change now that he's started releasing archive shows officially?

The font used is the same as the font Meat also uses, but it's not a font that belongs to Meat Loaf.

It's a general font and the fonts name is Bradley Gratis.

Other users of the font are Firestone, Ketel One and Disney (+ many more).

Some information about the font:

Quote:
Bradley is an 1895 typeface credited to Joseph Warren Phinney (1848-1934). It was based on lettering by Henry William Bradley (1869-1962) for a Christmas cover of Harper's Bazaar magazine. Bradley was the basis for logotypes such as Firestone and Ketel One, and has been used more recently by Disney on theme park signage.
