This is the episode that Meat had posted about earlier.

Good Lord... I wonder if there'll be another bottle that miraculously moves in the bathroom. I got bored and angry when watching it the first time, I'm not keen on watching another episode of that show.

Sloss furnace is only 2 hours from where I live. It's so cool to me that Meat was 2 hours away from me and I didn't even know That place is really haunted and it's scary as hell!! I've been there before and I don't think I ever want to go back. I think this episode will be a lot better than the other one.

Thanks Vicki, sounds interesting. I really enjoyed the last episode he was in. I love things like that, I find it fascinating. I wish they'd do some episodes here, there are plenty of haunted places over here.

You're welcome Carole I really enjoyed the other episode too.
You'll have to tell Meat about the haunted places if you get the chance to talk to him in Australia

Seeing ghosts is all in the head. When adrenaline starts pumping and you get afraid you could end up seeing anything. I used to watch "Most Haunted" a good bit but it's all in the dark, and you end up seeing nothing. The only reason people start feeling cold chills is because of fear not because of a ghost. I read in Meat's autobiography that he seen the ghost of a young girl at a some studio they were staying at. He said he was terrified and couldn't sleep, but Jim took the ghost into some toy he had and everytime the toy made a noise Meat knew Jim had the ghost under control. I think Meat should have taken ghostbuster Jim on this little adventure.

Indeed on Most Haunted it was more Derek Acorah who was creepy rather than any ghost or ghosthouse.
Speaking of which the "Mary loves dick" clip is classic.

YouTube Video

You can clearly see at the ending they are all laughing about it as they thought the cameras were off. Complete fake.

Ghost Hunters my

But it does make interesting viewing if you believe it's real.

I'd imagine walking around in a large dark cold house would feel quite freaky so in that sense it's going to be scary regardless of any ghosts dropping by.

The last time they just switched off the lights and ran around in the dark house with their blinking gadgets. It was neither scary, interesting nor entertaining.

Wink Happy Saturday meatie peeps ...

lol ... On this issue imo, some of you guys have your heads too much into reality. Where's your imagination and sense of fun ?

Lighten up, let it go, breathe, play and have fun with it. Meat probably will/ did.

PS: My deceased mother plays with the electric in her kids' houses for some reason ... hmmm ...

If it at least was imaginative and funny... I just don't like that show, sorry. I think it's boring and my opinion doesn't have anything to do with "having my head too much into reality".

I agree with tink
I honestly don't care if it's real or fake, and I rarely watch the show. But I really enjoyed watching Meat have fun on the last episode, and I'm really looking forward to watching him have fun again

Well I've never seen a ghost myself, nor do I ever want to, but I think it is just ignorance to say 'there's no such thing as ghosts'. Just because you don't believe in them, doesn't mean they don't exist. Plenty of people have claimed to have seen ghosts, so there must be something there. I just keep an open mind about these things.

I agree with Carole. Proper (ie non faked) ghosts are very unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to keep an open mind. Current scientific knowledge is still probably less than sod all in the grand scheme of things.

I don't know if there are ghosts and I'm far from claiming that they don't exist but if I was keen on seeing one I surely wouldn't watch Ghost Hunters.

A film like The Exorcist or Paranormal Activity would scare me more than the likes of Ghosthunters or Most Haunted.
