Default Midnight at the Lost & Found album reviews thread

My Review:

This is meat's worst album.
  • Razors edge: Good. Not great. But Good.
  • MATLAF: Good. Great chorus and vocals
  • Wolf at your door: Pretty good song attempt. not great but its very country sounding which i like
  • Keep driving: No. keep this away from sick dogs cause it will deafen them
  • PL: VERY GOOD COVER. The only fantastic song on here
  • Priscilla: Good song, not the best
  • Sure about the girl: Terrible
  • Dont you look at me: Great country-style duet. respectable i guess
  • Really Want to: Sucks. video is even worse
  • Fallen Angel: Better remixed. terrible on the album
OVER ALL: 6/10

i liked it.....priscilla is the only song on the album i can't stand, fallen angel and if you want to are kind of iffy.....

all the songs are short, and enjoyable though....agree that the video sucked, but it was what, 1983?

BBIS is his worst record IMO....

I may be one of the few people who actually likes this album. Definitely better than BBIS. Why it doesnt have a perfect-over the top production, I like it for what it is. I guess I like the overall feel/vibe of the album, cant really explain why.

The raw "demo" like production of MATLAF is what appeals to me, it's a stripped back Rock and Roll record, completely different to the over the top sound of the Bat franchise that Meat is best known for.

Can't stand any song on the album with the exceptions of Razor's Edge, If You Really Want To and Fallen Angel, which are all pretty decent songs. Otherwise...yeah, no
