What job do you do?

Thought it might be interesting to see what jobs people hold and if anybody has a job they really like (have yet to meet somebody that does!) or if they hold a great job?! (is that asking tooooooo much?!) even an interesting job........

I work at the post office

, can't rave about it but its an income!!!
My love of my life is songwriting and i'd love to have a career as a songwriter

I am a community street warden for the borough council & i love my job thou the money could be better ,i work shifts 4 days on 4 days off great for the family life.

I'm a Teaching Assistant in a First School with children from 4 - 9. I love my job, it's great working with children.

i'm a cop..haha trying to become a policeofficer...still have to go to school once a week..and with a friend we do webdesigning...

aand besides that i'm trying to get information about starting a kind of holyday camp for disabled people..maybe in Canada..it's hard to explain in english what it is or will be exactly..my english isn't that good..

i'm a bus driver mon-fri and dj at weekends i love both jobs. driving is hard sometimes but i enjoy it overall and the money's good, dj'ing is loads of fun and easy money

I am currently unemployed, but i do often prostitute myself as a housecleaner and clean the house for my parents for a bit of cash!

I'm just about to start college so hopfully i can post here in a few years time and say that i'm a film editor, or a promotional manager or something!

I am an administrator for the local hospital - working in Maternity. I deal with all of the appointments & scans - ensure that every woman booked at the hospital are seen att he correct times. I also have to sort out all of the paperwork for 9 clinics a week. Get lots of phone calls from patients - GP's Midwives - other organisations - some not so nice to deal with

I love my job - just do not like the people in the office too much

They do not appreciate my sense of humour or my commitment to my own clinics.

Heli - you want a film score with drums in a few years - remember me

As most of you know I am learning the drums - I would love to do it more in public to boost my confidence - but - that's life - I just love them anyway.

I'm an Administrative Assistant with Citicards (a division of Citigroup) Monday - Friday which pays the bills.

I'm also an Usher Supervisor with the Greensboro Coliseum part-time...it doesn't really pay any bills to speak of but I do love it!

I am a parts consultant for Harratts Mitsubishi, only started the job in June but loving it!! It is hard to explain what the job involves but it can be b****y hard work sometimes,

So if any of you out there have a Mitsubishi and want parts for it, I am youre guy!! Ha

I am a full time mum to my 2 boys. My youngest starts school full time next week so I will only be "employed" part time.
I am hoping to get a part time job soon, just to help pay a few bills. I gave up work 8 years ago, I was manager of a BP petrol station, I loved my job but my children are more important.

I'm a Director & part owner of a Plastic Injection Moulding company. My main responsibilities are to ensure the company complies with current employment, health & safety and company law. I'm also responsible for implementing the quality control system as well as dealing with the financial aspects of running a business. I've worked damned hard to get where I am, and it's sometimes been pretty difficult juggling raising a family and having a career.

In my spare time, I do a bit of freelance work as an event security guard for a family friend. I also make wedding boquets and arrangements which I find very relaxing.

I'm a student, and from October I'll be at University. Apart from that, I've been working at an art and craft shop for the past couple of years. I used to work weekends but now I work whenever they need me cos I'm not at school. I love working there, the people I work with are great and the shop is fantastic, a little Aladdin's cave full of interesting finds.

Every time I go in there it's full of new stock! We've just moved the shop so we're now on the high street so it's busier than ever!

I design and system test Financial System software enhancements for the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) and for the next few months, thanks to Katrina, I'll be able to work in my fuzzy slippers from home!

Imagine . . . I can barely balance my own checkbook but I'm the subject matter expert for their Accounts Receivable!
