Does anyone know if Radio 2 actually announced any winners to their quiz?
I can't find anything on their site and have had no replies from emails or SMS. Would like to know if anyone won anything.

Of course i have a trusting nature...... but i will be so much happier if/when I know that someone some where won what they were promising be it signed album or concert tickets.
For my part I probably entered so many times that they blocked my email

Hi all,

We had the radio on (2) today while travelling to Blackpool, and whoever won the comp was announced live on air. We missed hearing who it was. Meat was also talking a bit (we missed most of that also!) but he is on again tomorrow, sometime before 1.00, something called "The tracks of my years". Today we heard 2 he chose - Janis Joplin - a song about wanting a Mercedes Benz, and a Rolling Stone one - I can't remember which but I think it had the words "the joint was rocking,.......round and around"

Thank you so much for this info. I don't recall them saying during the show that Meat was due back on, but then again I was having enough trouble trying to stay on line

He is appearing on "Tracks of my years" on Radio 2 everyday this week, today is the last day though i think.

Yes he is on - from what another fan said it is around the 11.30 am mark. He picks the last 2 songs today - I also found the info on the bbc.co.uk/radio2 website last night.

I have just found out that a right prat not a million miles away from where I am sitting now had an email over a week ago saying that he had won a couple of CDs. The email said "You're a winner" so the idiot deleted it without reading it thinking it was spam. Fortunately a nice lady at the BBC has chased for his address a second time. Unless this is an elaborate hoax there might be a couple of CDs of some description on the way shortly.

Don't know if there were others on this list who got a prize but just so you know there were some genuine prizes - for the sceptical amongst you who posted earlier in the thread
