I was searching for an old thread, but couldnt find it anymore.
I tried all possible key words and even with common words were no matches found.

Is it me or is this thing broken?

What is it you are searching for?

Can you remember where it was posted and by who?

I was searching for the kids pics photos thread, which I think was called
"what we like as a kid", I tried all of these words but didnt find it.

I found another way:
I knew that it was started by Markham, so I went to his profile and watched all the threads he started.

But the search still isnt working for me

Search is working fine, but:
  1. The search engine is using "stop words" which are excluded from search. These are words with less than four letters ("the, i, you, he, she, it, ...) and words which are used very often, like "what", "this", "that", ..., and it looks like the thread title (what we like as a kid) completely consists of stop words.
  2. Markham's thread (1st post) has no text, just an image and I'm not sure if thread titles are searched (if they are, read above).

Another thing I can suggest...if you have ever posted anything on the thread you're looking for...you can try to look at your subscriptions - it still might be there.

Or if you remember who posted on that thread...you can look at their profile and search for their posts...

This, of course, is way cumbersome...but if you really want to find something...it might help...
