What's the problem with WPOMBHTM?
OK...at the risk of sounding ignorant - how did you all guys hear this song? I am in the States - you guys seem to know a whole lot more than we do (this is not sarcasm - I am totally being sincere). I heard this song only once at the Dream Engine concert - and maybe because it was a Dream Engine - I didn't really get into it. How do you all know it? Is there a way I can hear it again? Without Dream Engine?

But this is just a fans wish and view. One and ryan/rockferris could only speculate about the personal and business stuff surrounding that matter. But i never ever believe the rumour spread on RR that Meat rejected that song.

I think that For Crying Out Loud is one of the most powerful love songs ever written.

I didn't think that anybody at DE had a voice to pull off WPOMBHTM and maybe that's why the song went straight over my head...unfortunately, it sounded to me like one of those neverending and maybe even self-indulgent arias that belong more in a Broadway musical/rock opera than in a concert. But once again, I am not making a judgement until I hear it at least couple of times more and, hopefully, by Meat Loaf. I Will Do Anything For Love grew on me too - didn't get it in the beginning either.

Geez...I sound like I am a bit slow in a head...eh?

Absolutely not!
Thatīs my "problem", too. If you can call it so.
You just have to hear a song by ML/JS more than one time to enjoy it. I have to know in this song, what comes next? Does he get powerful now? Or does he slow down?

I think i like Meatīs music, because i can feel with it (Please donīt write these he-is-an-actor-and-dont-feels-it-really things). And i can only feel, if i know the whole song and see how the emotion does get more intensive from line to line of the lyrics.
Do you feel the same?

You know what...that was the problem I found with Bad for Good. Steinman has nice enough voice - not powerful but nice...but he doesn't feel his own lyrics or music...

I have to agree absolutely...I don't care how Meat Loaf does it...but he gets inside of me somehow and rips my heart out...

The first time I heard For Crying Out Loud, I thought I will have a real physical heart attack. I still cry when I hear Read 'Em and Weep.

A little secret and I hope other fans are not going to rip me a new one...I can't listen to Meat Loaf singing for more than 15 minutes or so...I get such an emotional and sensory overload that I think my head will explode. That's why I didn't do so well at his concerts...I just feel if I hear another song...I will just die...and I am saying this in a good way...his voice and the soul he puts into the songs he is singing just tears me apart...

When i heard objects at first, i really felt, someone could "grab me from behind", even though the lyrics are very different to my life. I love my father, but when i hear object, i nearly start crying.
One of Meatīs best songs, I think it is underrated.
