Sorry for the lack of explanation!

David Beckham is one of Britains leading footballers (Captain of the England team). His wife Victoria used to be Posh Spice from the Spice Girls.

They are Britains leading celebrities and are always in the papers.

Anyway, their first child was called Brooklyn because he was conceived in Brooklyn, New York.

Their second child was born yesterday and is called ROMEO! This means that every newspaper/tv show/radio show in Britain is asking "Why Romeo?" No one can understand why they chose that name.

Todyas front page headline: "Romeo, Romeo, WHY fore art thou Romeo?"

They are not my favorite couple (they seem to have more money than taste) but I will say that he could have have had a worse name.He could have been conceived in Bognor.
Or how about if he was conceived in a lovely little welsh village called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Really, it's just a name and the personnel choice of the Beckhams, and although they're not my favourite couple either, I think they can name their child anything they want without people causing such a fiasco over it e.g. it making the headlines on the national news or front pages of national papers.

Brooklyn was names after the place where he was conceieved, then it was rumoured that their second child would be a girl that they were gonna call Paris, then they've had a boy called Romeo - if they keep going like this their children are gonna make up half an atlas!
