I want Pudding removed from this site.
He is constantly at me. If he is not removed, I suggest you watch what he has to say carefully ![]() |

I want Pudding removed as well, I've heard some stuff about him that would make the hairs on your palms stand on edge. I once heard he used to pole dance for a living.

![]() ![]() Now again and again it's become apparent to me (quick ain't I? ![]() To take the extreams........ Fan A. considers him/herself a REAL fan. Would not critisise a single thing Meat does. Listens to mostly Meat Loaf. Owns Meat Loaf curtains. Fan B. considers him/herself an HONEST fan. Meat does something they don't like, they have no problem in saying so. Listens to Meat when they're good and ready. Shops at Ikea for curtains. Now fan B. may consider fan A. a complete sycophantic annorack. Not only that, how can fan A. be possiblly correct in saying that everything Meat has ever done is perfect (not even Meat believes that). Why don't you listen to other kinds of music? You have nothing to compare Meat too. You even have the curtains? ![]() On the other hand, fan A. may view fan B. as being an ungratful git. This is the artist who has given us so much pleasure, and has produced so much quality work. How can you say that this (or that, or the other) is substandard? What do you know anyway? How could you possiblly understand without a daily 5 hour dose of Meat? Ikea ![]() Now neither of these opinions is right, or wrong (although both fans A&B will scoff at the notion that they could be wrong, or even worse, the other fan could be right) but there is no right or wrong. Thankfully A&B are the extreame cases, and most people are happy to dwell somewhere in between. I myself tend to be slightly towards the A end of the spectrum. I don't tend to critisise Meat, as even when he isn't on his top form, it's still the best sound around. That's just my opinion. Even so, it doesn't bother me in the slightest if someone expresses a negative opinion. I'm intitled to mine. They are just as entitled to theirs. A lot of what I listen too these days IS Meat Loaf. I used to be a lot more eclectic. Some people will say i've narrowed my horisons, others will say my tastes have become more refined. Either way, would this work for everyone? No.Does it work for me?Yes.Should it bother anyone else in the slightest? Why the hell would it? I also accept that if I go anywhere on the net and state that Meat is God, i'm gonna come under a "bit" of flack ![]() As I cannot prove that Meat is God (YET, the bible i've just wrote goes to the publishers next month ![]() My curtains? A very tasteful wine red, and not bought from Ikea (T.J. Hughes ![]() But if ML curtains WERE available, the Loafian in me would HAVE to buy a set.Not to hang, just for the collection as a funny example of bad taste (this is the guy who owns Meat Loaf sweat bands ![]() End of the day, both A&B fans are welcome here, as long as they can also be reasonable enough to show each other respect and a little give and take. I've rambled on quite enough now (far longer than I meant too, but nothing new there ![]() Live and let live ![]() ![]() And if there is a problem between members please contact the admin. I'm gonna leave this locked as I don't think anything else can be achieved here. Last edited by The Flying Mouse; 24 Dec 2005 at 04:12. |
