Default Patti Russo & James Michael: New Album?

I have read it on the James Michael's site:

"Had the amazing Patti Russo (vocalist for Meat Loaf) in the studio today recording vocals on a song that I wrote. We met a few months ago on the "Couldn't Have Said It Better" video shoot and began talking about working together. They are playing at the Universal Amphitheatre tomorrow, so she came in a day early to record. What an incredible singer. We're discussing making a solo record for her."

WOH,

I read that yesterday and I was thrilled too! What a combo- vocals by Patti and lyrics by James Michaels- I can't wait!

It's about time Patti released an album. But would Meat be her backing singer?

Well, I could guarantee a few sales from us lot, but would she use some of her own songs?

One copy for sure :)

She really should bug Paul O'Neill to 'donate' a song or two too... I really like what she did on "Beethoven's Last Night"

Default YEAH!

I'm guessing that once Meat finishes touring for Bat 3, she'll move on to a solo career then. But something might come as early as the end of the CHSIB tour, especially as touring for Bat 3 might be limited. Just my speculation though.

I bet a lot of Meat fans will follow Patti's solo career too, especially as another Meat Loaf song writer, James Michael is involved.

I am not sure if she has the ambition for having a solo career. She is almost 40 and already more than 10 years an backing singer. I doubt if she wants to have a solo career.

Quite the contrary, I do believe Patti has expressed a grand desire to be a solo artist for quite awhile.

I think she is absolutely fantastic - at the moment she looks and sounds better than ever. When you look at her and think of some of the rubbish female singers that get all the press attention it makes you angry! She was indeed awesome when opening for meat, I'd definitely be interested in following her solo career.

But lets not forget about Meat just yet!!

I think that Patti will be great at what ever musical endeavors she decides to persue and I also have to mention that she is so beautiful in person. I just love her.
