I think this was answered in the past, possibly by Evil One, but I've slept since then and my memory isn't as good as it used to be. This album was released, in some territories, with three live tracks on the end - Paradise and Bat were two of them, and in Bat Meat uses a much lower, more brutal register to sing in.
Anyone know where/when they were recorded, and if there are any more instances of Meat Loaf using this lower register to sing in? Peace out, Doode. ![]() |

If you mean this compilation, those tracks are (undoubtedly) from the Live at Wembley album.
I've never heard of an version of the album with live tracks tacked on. |

It's this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bad-Attitude...8699498&sr=1-7 there isn't a track list up there, but the first user review comments on the live tracks.
Edit: that looks like the same compilation actually, after checking the track list, but with a different cover. Last edited by TheDoode; 20 Jan 2013 at 17:43. |

Does anyone know of any other instances where Meat has used this lower register on live recordings?

I love that version of BOOH. In fact it came up on my playlist yesterday. He sounds very badass on this track. It sounds like he smoked a pack of Luckys before going on stage.
I also love the version of 'Paradise' with (one of the?) the Goffs. Very funny. |

Agreed. He almost sounds like Blackie Lawless on W.A.S.P.'s latest 'Babylon'. Or Blackie sounds like Meat. One of those.
