How Many Times Has Meat Played Wembley ?

Just watching Strictly Come Dancing tonight from Wembley Arena (the (original) UK version of Dancing With The Stars for those across the Atlantic...) where one of the competitors - a member of Westlife - claimed to have made the most concert appearances at Wembley - 27 times.

Given Meat has been performing at Wembley for at least twice as long as Westlife I wondered how far Meat was behind them ? Anyone know - or would like to make an (educated) guess ?

Just really surprised that Westlife have performed more times at the UK's premier concert venue than Meat ...

So I counted 26 (?) - so if the list is accurate - then Meat should break this record next year ...

If he plays Wembley... I'd personally like for them to play the O2 Arena, but I don't think it's likely. I'd love to be proved wrong though

Agreed.
It's rather shameful that our most well known music venue has Westlife as it's house band

I may be wrong, but I recounted and still get 26 (?) ... I didn't count the Nelson Mandela birthday concert as this was at Wembley Stadium not Wembley Arena, so if you include this then it is 27 ...

There is an omission on 26th Apr '96 for Newcastle (telewest) arena on the "born to rock" tour.
