He did a good version, but I remember a certain Miss Whitney Houston who sang the song in a way that brought the country to its feet.

Although, Meat Loaf did well with the song, I will always hold Whitney's as the quintessential version of the song. A total combination of right song, right time, right voice, and right arrangement.

Whitney and Meat are par i think. I think if an official countdown were ever to air, Meat would be in the top 3 tier, while whitney would be steadfast Number 1.

I love both versions. Meat sounds fantastic, so did Whitney.
