Default Are there any songs in Meat's catalogue that everyone likes?

I was surprised to find in the I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us thread that there is someone who doesn't like it. I know that a couple of people in the past have claimed to not like Bat and Anything For Love, so they are out.

Is there anyone who doesn't like For Crying Out Loud or Objects In The Rear View Mirror?

I am actually quite fond of FCOL and Objects. They are listed as runners up on my Top 20 video.

The song people universally love is masculine. Case dismissed.

I was one of the few who voted for 'I don't like the song' (on IGLHFBOU). It's probably the only Steinman song I've never really enjoyed - the lyrics are simply poetic genius, but I just never clicked with the music. The deep bass intro on the piano is cool, but other than that...the song really doesn't do much for me at all.

Objects and FCOL, on the other hand, are possibly the two best songs that will ever be written

Also, 100th post. Yay

Anything for Love is brilliant due to Jim's sublime production. Not too keen on Meat's live versions (not saying theyre bad)

I agree, for me also Seize the Night (but not the way it was recorded, it has such great potential!).

Anyway - when I see WPOMBHTM ... until it is recorded ... I quote

Wario, I know you're a bit eccentric but the fact that you think of yourself as "people" is slightly disturbing.

Nope - both masterpieces. Especially FCOL. My favourite Meat Loaf song ever.

If someone eventually has the initiative to record it It's a sin that it's just being left to rot

Always love FCOL. I do like Objects, but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it. If I'm not, I have to skip it.

What does WPOMBHTM stand for? Is it an unreleased song?

Same here.

As much as I love Objects, if I'm in a hyper mood then I have to skip it and put on someething a little bit more lively.

If I want a good cry then I'll put on Objects.
