But Meat will vote his all songs 10 I give up this topic! An yes! Meat is visting TT&BH section! Hey Mr. Loaf! I'd like you give us professional analysis about your songs! |
Ilove this song. It's my favourite on CHSIB.The first time i listened to the album, this was the one that stood out, it's beautiful.Whilst i love and appreciate the whole range of styles of songs Meat does ,it is in the slower, quieter ballads that you can really appreciate the beauty of his voice. Why Isn't That Enough is simply beautiful. Some of you say the lyrics are simple but they are beautiful in their simplicity.
"I don't know how i can do this What am i supposed to say? You have been my dream for so long Now that dream is slipping away..." Beautiful Idon't go in for pulling a song apart and analysingthe lyrics bit by bit, though from my own point of view the more poetic the lyrics are the more i like them. (hopeless romantic!) i prefer to look at a song as a whole. This one is just lovely. 10/10 |

I have to admit I am a bit of a sucker for Meat ballads. It is very simple, but I think that is a good thing, making it seem very pure emotion.
I love all the sounds layered in the background (good ol headphones :) ). i agree with tink about the oriental sound. It is also in a perfect place after the powerful CHSIB and DIST. Always going to be an album track, but a beautiful one at that. A haunting: 8/10 |
Well up front 11\10. now why....
This is an amazing track, I can't believe it, I love it so much. I want it (well I have it) I need it (I'll play it now!) I Love it, why? Because, this is full power, I find it has more power than Anything For Love, the middle is what inspired me the most about it. I'm glad its here. Fireball, I don't if you take fan's opinions in consideration, but I have to say I LOVE THIS SONG. Your words, your voice is so fanfvckingtastic. I love the middle, thats what made me like it the most! Go you, I love this record more than any of them, is it better than BOOH. Well gimme another month or so, and I will have a true opinion. Great job! I'd love to see you in concert, Saint John, NB, Canada. I missed you the first time. My aunt saw you, along with my uncle, who well got kicked out for sing Bat Out Of Hell to the top of his lungs and jumping up and down. and well they kicked him out. Believe me, he tried to get back in. ***A little reccomendation for anyone that gave it lower than an 8*** I like the words, and songs aren't always about the words, its about the emotion you reflect from it, and that song, has an undescribable emotion. Am I sounding too overrated, my opinon, hell no 8) Now I'm sorry I forgot your name  but someone on this forum did a perfect review on this record, I will get her name when I get back from the party tonight, but if you play this song loud, and I mean really loud, you will feel the feelings in this song. Its perfect its great its excellent, and it is definetly (quoteing Fireball) ONE OF THE BEST!!!!! sorry for the yelling, but this song like all the songs on this record are truely beautiful, hard rockin pieces. Definetly a STAND OUT!!!!! :D 8O :P Meat knows it, I know it, You know it, and if you don't know it, KNOW IT :D 8) Because its fantastic :) |
Here is a song that just jumped right out of the speakers at me. Such increadable emotion is captured here. Just hope you never have to live this song cause it will rip you apart. Meat has captured this before in his songs. He does it once again and this one hits even deeper. Not quite "For Crying Out Loud", but damn close.

I didn't like this song much at first, but now it's growing on me!
Louise x |
That's exactly how I felt about this song, Louise!! Hate to admit, my first few plays of the CHSIB CD included a skip at the intro of , but then I let it play.
Hmmm, I thought, not too bad! Then it grew on me and has become a favorite on the drive to work in the morning. 8/10 Debbi V |
I started off on this a bit slow too, but now I agree with you, it is damn fine! 8.5/10!

What intrigues me is the fact that "Why Isn't That Enough" is between "Did I Say That" and "Love You Out Loud" but before "Man Of Steel"...??? For me, it's more obvious to list it like this: 2. Did I Say That 3. Why Isn't That Enough 4. Man Of Steel 5. Love You Out Loud :??: :??: :??: 8/10 Have to edit my post: Just forget what I wrote about the track list !!!! I've just GOT IT! I'VE JUST GOT IT! |
A typical ballad, but good.
To me it looks like it should be some kinda 2oo3 sequel. I want you, I need you, but there aint no way I´m ever gonna love you... (he turns to loving her, but now she doesnt want it anymore) You know that I want you, you know that I need you baby, you know that I love you, so why isnt that enough? 7,5 |
Good song but somehow sounds a little too needy for my taste...
7/10 |
