A nice pleasant song from the Stoney and Meat Loaf Recordings. Has a slight country touch to it (I am tryin to learn the little guitar passage in the intro). The lyrics are O.K. The vocals are great! I am not sure what the song is about, but I think it is about a man and a women who go on a date and fall in love.
A Nice song! :P 8/10 |

Sorry to say this but this is my least favourite song on the original album. The melody may be pleasant enough but the lyrics I do not like at all

Apart from the "What You See" single I have,my introduction to the Stoney cuts was by way of a nine track CD I got off e bay from the U.S. To me,this is the song that really jumped off the album straight away. First of all,I'm sure Peter Gabriel nicked the intro for Salisbury Hill There is a real country sound to the chorus.Saying that,I can't imagine Johnny Cash singing it. A pleasant song to listen to. 7/10 Stays with you a while. |
