37. Getting Away With Murder
This is the START OUT OF HELL & ARRIVE TO HEAVEN topic.
Let's Go to Rock 'n' Roll!!!!!! Getting Away With Murder (6) It's a few better than Mercenaries. A typical '80's pop song. The story shallow but I like the '80 era. It's not more a simple song... My score: 6 Average: 5.69 (45.5/8 ) |

I don't think it is a good song. It hasn't a good melody and also strange lyrics.
My score: 4,5 |

I guess for Meat the song means a lot. I've heard once, Meat is a Hitchcock fan. And "Getting Away With Murder", especially the video, is Hitchcock stylish. I saw Meat describing how difficult it was to get the blood down the drain in the Psycho scene. It wasn't so easy to realize it, that it looks real.

This is a good song, but I think there is too much sythersiser.
I think the lyrics are quite good,it's just a shame that Meat didn't have much to do with the post production. 6/10 Still gets away with it. |

This song is just plain wrong! Ugly.
Even at that the voice saves it a little. 3/10 |

Its certainly a different style but this was the 80's and remember that style was different back then. It might not be an "Everlast" song but damn me if I'm not a fan of 80's music!
7.5/10 from me |

It doesn't sound 80's... it sounds "let's make a remix-board-studio album... oops... we forgot the voice... who do we have in our catalogue?... let's hire the big voice guy!"
What they didn't expect was that Meat would save a lot of songs on it! 3/10 (7/10 for Meat) |

I don't like this album. DOn't like "Midnight" either. Don't like 'Welcome to the Neighbourhood". This song (besides MASCULINE) is the worst on the album. 2/10 (and that's immensely generous)

It's one of the better songs on BBIS I reckon, slightly biographical, completely ruined by the post production - as pretty much every song was on the album, would love to get my hands on the master tapes one day and a have a crack at making it the album it should have been!
7/10 for potential 4/10 for the fact it failed to reach that potential. |

Thatīs not Meat. Who wrote it? Frank Farian? OK, thatīs the cause of this thing. The only thing I like is the video, well at least a bit. I like this psycho style thing 4 |
