This is the START OUT OF HELL & ARRIVE TO HEAVEN topic.
Let's Go to Rock 'n' Roll!!!!!! You're Right, I Was Wrong (5) It's a very simple song too. I think it isn't Diane Warren's best. Where is it next to Not A Dry Eye or I Don't Want To Miss A Thing by Aerosmith. I can highlight nothing. It's too average... My score: 5 Average: 7.25 (130.5/18 ) |

I like this one.
![]() A typical Meat song - he puts all his emotion into it, and this really comes through. 8/10 |

I do find it difficult to score these songs yet as i am still finding something new each time i listen.
I can't agree with with you White. So much is about regrets and missed opportunies. I think this is a very poerful song which carries well and is very emotive. 8/10 |

To me, miss Warren is the queen of mediocre popsongs, and this is just one in that category. Where "I'd Lie For You" and "Not a Dry Eye" are outstanding, these are actually the only two Diane Warren songs I really like. Ok, she co-wrote "Rosie" with Richie Sambora, Jon Bon Jovi and Desmond Child, but if four people write a song together, it can't be named after one of the four. And don't get me started on "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". The song is pretty decent, but Aerosmith should never have recorded it. Aerosmith should rock. And wasn't Aerosmith the band who (and I quote Joe Perry) "didn't want anything wussy on their records"?.
So the point? Out of all Warren-songs I've heared, there's 3 I enjoy. Back to YRIWR - I enjoy it as much as Unsaid... and that is not that much. Very average, but Meat does a good job, so I'll give it a 6/10. |

I don't know why I don't 'love' this one. It's just not 'there'.
Meat does sing it brilliantly. But I only 'like' this one. 7/10 Mariella |

Not one of Dianne Warren's best.
Still I much prefer this to the next couple of songs on the album I give this 8 out of 10 |

When a guy finally realises his ego is what killed a relationship and knows it can't be saved but has to let his lost love know he knows.

Good song, that's about it, good. I rate it an 8. I like it, but it doesn't thrill me. Near the end I like more so than rest. It's an 8\10. The 2nd least liked song by Meat. imo.
Well that's it for tonight. see yas tomorow. |

They should replace this with 'Decadent Wish'. It's the one thing on the album I don't enjoy. Everything else is stellar - absolutely stellar - but this just wrecks it. AND I HATE DIANE WARREN!!!! I SERIOUSLY HATE HER!!!!

Great song.. kind of sad. I wish it was referring to his marriage and now divorce from Leslie though.

I am sorry that you are having a hard time of it with your ex. I think of this song often and wonder if my husband would say this to me when the time comes for us to go our seperate ways. To bad marriage don't work out like we want them to. That may be why I like the song so much. I give it a 8.5/9 Love & Happiness Autumn |

I have a little problem with Diane Warren as well... don't know why! But I did like "Not A Dry Eye In The House" but I guess it was because of Meat's emotionnal involvement on it, what else? ![]() 6/10 |
