Wink

A FB friend found a way to stop sleazy chat requests, thought I'd share it.
sung to the tune of " It don't come easy" by Ringo Starr

I Don't Chat Sleazy

I don't chat sleazy,
You know I don't chat sleazy.

I don't chat sleazy,
You know I don't chat sleazy.

I don't give a da*n where you like to put your hand
You know I don't chat sleazy.

I don't care that you're endowed
and you really get around,
You know I don't chat sleazy.

Forget your sexy texts and all your bragging
I don't give a rat's behind
Who you're shagging.

I don't ask for much, I just want you to shut up,
And you know I don't chat sleazy.
And these cheeks of mine get redder all the time,
'Cause you know I don't chat sleazy.

Thanks, it was a bit of a shock at first, even though I'm used to ice baths. It was ok after lol

RAF Shawbury to commence Phase 2 training (Flight Operations) until 17th December. Then after that I don't know. Hoping for RAF Brize Norton or RAF Northolt.

I've played a couple of gigs there. A big summer event with loads of acts, fairground rides etc, and then later on I did the living-in Christmas dance in the sergeants mess. Maybe someone there remembers it? Woulda been about 2005-6 maybe? My memory is shocking haha

With just over 2 weeks to go until the "Beauty and the Beast" trail marathon, I've totted up my training mileage. Keeping a running log is not something I've ever done!
Since entering I've clocked up:

Runs - 106
Total mileage - 693 (or 1115 km for those who work in metric)
Average Run - 6.53 miles (or 10.52 km)
Longest Run - 22 miles
Shortest Run - 2 miles

A nice and easy fortnight should see me in tip-top condition for the adventure.
The course has 5000 feet worth of ascent and a river to wade through half a dozen times.
Sounds like a walk in the park. By the end it will be.
I've chosen "Dead Ringer For Love" as my music pick. Let's hope the DJ plays it just as I set off on the sixth and final lap as a little booster ( with a thousand entries the chance is more wishful).
Anyway, I am really looking forward to the challenge. I know it's by far and away the toughest event I have attempted but it seemed such a jolly when my wine-induced brain gave it the go-ahead.
I've lost nigh on 3 stone in weight and my 45 year frame is back to its youthful prime.
Bring on The Beast!!

Mrs. Chairboys' work has Dr Steve Peters giving an inspirational talk tomorrow. This is the sports psychologist guy who guided Liverpool to the Premiership title last season, England to this summer's World Cup glory and whose mind games kept Luis Suarez on the straight and narrow the moment he left the Mersey.
Very apt he is famed for the Chimp Paradox model.

Apparently, there is a film crew recording the event!!
I'd rather do it incognito.

Perhaps this is the time for the phantom hamstring strain.
