Though might've because songs as Home By Now, 'A Kiss' and INS Anymore?
'A Kiss' the way was recorded on Storytellers would've made me want to discover more from this group had I not discovered Bat 1 and 2, CHSIB. Last edited by RSG; 17 Apr 2021 at 20:54. |

For me it's his "Best of" tour in '99. His voice then was phenomenal

I become a fan around the time of his CHSIB-era voice, so naturally, the world tours that followed in (I think) 2003-2004 are my favorite Meat Loaf live voice. Everything since then I always compare back to that time frame. Second favorite would be 2011 HCTB Tour. Saw him in Jan and he was in top form. I have never heard anything like it again - it ~~~~ing blew the roof off the 2000 seat audience and everyone was amazed and shocked at how good it was. I wish I had video

1987-1999. His voice was good from the bad attitude era onwards but it peaked from about 87 and esp during the lost boys and golden girls tour in 88. Always thought he should have retired after the best of tour in 99 as the few times I saw him after this he was never the same. Last time I saw him was 2007 and he seemed to struggle.
