Default CHSIB vinyl question

I got the holy grail yesterday.

Indeed it seems like a pristine unplayed copy as was promised by the German dealer however....
Has anyone else got the chapter one and two side stickers on the wrong sides like mine?

Lol
Couldn't resist not playing it. Can't see myself parting with it ever. Quality seems great regardless.

Perhaps this issue exists on all copies. Didn't know.

Congratulations

Yes, I got the chapter one and two side stickers on the wrong sides on my copy too ! I was wondering if it exists on all copies too

I admit I played my copy just once and it sounded amazing. But now it's safely hanging on my wall

CHSIB is a top shelf album. That openings weep of CHSIB - DIST - WHY ISNT THAT ENOUGH is magical. WITE gets so much crap, i love how its an echo of 2/3

Might I ask how you got this? eBay? or a German dealer? I think it might be time for me to finally try and solve this! I said, I wouldn't get a Bat III vinyl until I got one of these haha.

And CHSIB is terrific!

Discogs. Register there, add CHSIB to your wish list and they will email you when a copy becomes available. I snapped this one up within 10 minutes of it being advertised.

I always liked the CHSIB album cover as well. Crisp background, simplistic, but fun.

Here's what that picture comes from, for anyone who mightn't have known.

Meat has had the best album covers. It's always been exciting waiting to see what the next one is. Even his single covers have been better/ more interesting than many other artists' album covers.

Bat III had some real tough acts to follow though, with Bat & Bat II, which I thought were practically perfect. (Very Best of... artwork could have actually been Bat III, IMHO, if they'd never used it there. Does anyone else see what I mean here? I like that it would have been orange too, compared to the blue and red.) I think Bat III, probably really for this reason, was the most disappointing for me. I remember seeing it for the first time and for a couple seconds thinking, "Is this actually the real artwork?"

Don't think HIAHB got a vinyl release. I still haven't picked up Braver on vinyl, but apart from that and CHSIB I have them all

Indeed, no HIAHB on vinyl.

Interesting it was reported on the news that vinyl sales doubled last year in the UK.

Never say you've got em all as that's when some coloured special one off edition rears it's damned head but I think I'm there, then again they've released BOOH so many bloody times I'm bound to be missing one

EDIT Yup, never bothered with the US release of BBIS, diff cover. Like I said never say you've got em all.

But there is a difference between

"I've got all the Meat Loaf studio albums on vinyl except for HIAHB which was never released"
and
"I've got more money than sense and have every single version of every Meat Loaf studio vinyl ever released in the entire world."

Bigger difference would be the difference to buying them on release as opposed to inflated prices after the fact, only missed one on release and that one was gifted to me.

It's some of the other stuff that I need my head examined for.

Welcome to the Neighbourhood arrived today :) Sounds brilliant on the record player. I bought too many copies of Braver Than We Are. Every version and then the Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman signed one.

Thinking about what I'm going to go for next... I expect that I'm going to have to wait a while for CHSIB.

Unfortunately the vinyl collection will never be complete, because of HIAHB. The cover would look amazing on vinyl too.
