Default BAOH II Picture Show on Laserdisc

I own the BAOH Picture Show on VHS for years now, it's a bit worn out already now. A couple of weeks ago I bought the Picture Show on Laserdisc from a US seller. Well, have to look for a LD-player now and it'll take some time.........hubby told me "Think you are really a bit nuts....!! Ha! Ha!"
There is one thing I want to know: is it a different (edited?) version on the LD?

duke knooby, thanks for your reply.......will look for an Pioneer or Sony player then. At least I'm glad I've "saved" the Picture Show this way. Finally no one knows if it will appear on DVD one day....

I've got several laserdisc players. I can't sell or lend them but I can use one to copy to DVD if that's of interest.

They're actually from an olde Army Rapier missile repair system that I'm working on !! They were used to show pictures of circuit boards that engineers had to fix.

Actually, I don't understand why a DVD of Picture Show wasn't included with the 2006 Collector's Edition. It has the video's, it has Jim's part of the interview... would have made sense to me.

Just a small note if anybody is interested........the Picture Show on Laserdisc is offered on ebay by a seller ("LaserDisc Vault") from the US again....... think it's a rare find, anyway.

What extra is on the video that isn't on the DVD part of the Collectors Edition?

the excerpts from the history of ML concert.

That said, I'd really prefer a proper release of that show instead of a dvd version of the picture show.

Yes. Also there was a bit of a cockup on Anything For Love as Meat sang the first verse twice in place of the second verse. Nothing that couldn't be fixed though.
