Meat is quite busy doing these conventions. More in the U.S. and then Manchester and London in October and November

True. He really seems to enjoy the interaction with his fans.
I must say, I saw him in 2019 at a German con and wasn't disappointed!

Meat will be at the Mad Monster Expo in Charlotte, NC (actually Concord, NC) on Sept 3-5.

Rather than doing these conventions why doesn't Meat do a theatre talk/Q@A tour?

A tour requires staff, venue hire, ticketing deals, transport for staff, accommodation etc. etc.

Why bother when other people can organise most of that and take a little bit of the tickets sold?

That's not to say Meat couldn't do a one of Royal Albert Hall "An Evening with Meat Loaf" show, with mostly QA and perhaps a couple of songs afterwards if he's up to it.

I'd guess the cost of mounting such a tour with the possibility of limited audience appeal as compared to a concert far outweighs accepting an appearance fee and only having to cover transport (and maybe not even that).
