Default Bob Kulick has passed away.

His brother Bruce posted it on Facebook today.

Awful news.

He was my favourite guitarist I saw with Meat Loaf but only on videos, never on stage as Meat's lineup changed quite a bit over the years until I got to see the band live.
Always thought Bob looked like a crazy bald guitarist professor cooking up impossible solos and just bringing a real cool factor to Meat's band in the 80s.

Loved listening to the Meat Loaf live at Wembley album from 87 over and over again and hearing his guitar sing impossible melodies during the Two Out of Three solo section. His work was utterly fantastic. The harmonics were superb towards the end of the solo. It wasn't until the early 90s I could see Bob for myself when I got my hands on the 1985 VHS. It was always a very different sound than what followed after with Meat's other lineups and other guitarists, but never quite as magical I thought personally.

Rest in Peace Mr. Kulick. The world has lost an amazing guitarist.

Wow. I was watching a Meat Loaf bio on Youtube today and he was a big part of it. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in Peace.

RIP. Disagree though in the name of Pat Thrall or Paul Crook (to name just two).
