What is interesting, in The Standing topic Bat3 is only the 7th album on the list... so far from the 6th Bad Attitude...

I think the reason why some songs from CHSIB are so high up is that album was over reacted by fans...

Or quite possibly, people did like the songs on it.

Here are some rare songs in the list.

Keeper Keep Us from 1977 is 7th (it's not surprised).
The two songs what recorded with Brian May are behind each other.

Or maybe you should wait three years and see how peoples opinions change....... Remember the amount of rejection CHSIB recieved when it first came out?....... Now look at it............ You just haven't given Bat3 a chance yet and it hasn't been given the amount of time to settle that meat's other albums have had......... Or maybe you just wont give it a chance because your 'precious' Jimmy boy didn't produce it.........

precious jimmy boy didnt produce bat either of course, but he did produce bat 2, which was released in sept 93 i believe, which was the biggest selling album in the uk in 1993, complete with a no. 1 single, what something like 1 million units sold in a 12 week period. so all this shows is monster is loose is either performing like its sister album chsib, or is a sleeper album like its original name sake... only time will tell

I have to agree with Knooby. I'm not nay-saying, it's just the way things seem to be panning out. Don't flame me for expressing an opinion, folks

Well...
As far as I know CHSIB was overreacted. I don't think that's a better album than Bat3. I'm sure that's not. But that was a new album after 7 years. Everybody has waited for a long long time. And everybody gave 10 points.

Bat3 was working on another way. Everybody has wanted more and more. The title Bat3 meant something. And that was a shame for so much people. I didn't care about Jim is producing or writing all the songs. I wanted listen good music, good production. If this album is produced by Desmond and that's good, I don't care. But it's not. And I think a lot of people thought the same. This is the reason that the Bat songs are underrated. It doesn't depend on Jim or not...

"You're Right, I Was Wrong" was not a duet with Patti Russo. "Is Nothing Sacred" was released as a duet with Patti.

but is nothing sacred wasnt a duet on the album, so it depends which version he/others have referred to. You paid far more attention to that list than i did lol i just glanced

Actually, I didn't pay that much attention to the list either; the "featuring" parts just caught my eye. You're right, "Is Nothing Sacred" was a solo on The Very Best Of album and a duet on the Storytellers album, so it depends on which one you prefer. I rather prefer the duet version.

Talking Beautiful List

Any one can see from the list what a diverse and talented artist and band ML is, and allways will be. With over 100 different tracks, not counting variations, we all have our fav and ones that seem to touch our souls. So let us be forever glad that we lived, we saw, and we listened to a living ledgend. . . . Oh yer , was 'oh what a beautiful morning ' on the list . track 2 from I'd lie for you , cd single Vscdg1563.

I agree wholehearted with that. I feel so lucky to be living at the same time as this wonderful talented man and to have been able to see him live in concert several times, and to have met him which has been the highlight of my life. I only recently found out about his version of Oh What A Beautiful Morning's existence, and just found it on ebay and snapped it up. And he sings it so beautifully too.

Is there any change we get an update of this list or the songs ranking?, since we are 14 years further and the songs of HCTB HIHB and BTWA are not listed here.
