We were at Coach & Horses in Poland St, that is some distance from where this signing is, either they've moved HMV or that pub was a hell of a lot further away than I remember lol. The Running Horse pub is literally round the corner minutes away from HMV.

I'm keeping everything crossed for another signing in another city on Saturday 10th. I cant make the 8th as I start a new job 2 days before....I don't think they would appreciate me asking for the day off lol. Totally gutted and jealous as hell that my 2 kids have got tickets for London.

Don't worry, nearer the time we usually get our act together and make these important life changing decisions. Bigger question is what time does it close for after the signing!!

I am hoping to get to HMV around 5pm, in the hope I am nearer the front on the queue than the back? I have no,idea what time people turn up to these type of events to start to queue, I know HMV say 15 mins before but somehow that doesn't seem right! Can't believe it's one week away!....

I guess we all know there is a possible train strike on the 7th and 8th by Southern Rail, sigh, so I have arranged a car from Ashford in Kent to London in case, so I may be even earlier if the 'road Gods' are kind!... Would be nice to say hi to some of you, do we need MLUKFC name badges?

Default Martin Hausler launches exhibition in London same night as signing

September 8 at 7pm, photographer Martin Hausler is to launch an exhibition featuring his work at London's Sanctum Soho hotel, which will include photos of Meat. Meat is quoted as saying " This man is one of the greatest photographers of all time. If you miss it, you are wrong." Might he make an appearance on the opening night after the signing?

Martin Häusler is bringing a new exhibition to the Sanctum Soho Hotel this September. The exhibition will run for five weeks and will showcase a selection of photographs from Martin’s collection, as well as the unveiling of a 3D life size Brian May print, plus exclusive Meat Loaf prints will also be on display. Read the official press release below for more information:

The Martin Häusler Sanctum Soho Photography Takeover

Thursday 8th September – Thursday 13th October 2016

German portrait photographer Martin Häusler brings the latest installation of his works to London with The Martin Häusler Sanctum Soho Photography Takeover, which opens on Thursday 8th September for a 5-week residence.

Following successful exhibitions in Stuttgart, Los Angeles and his home town of Heidelberg, this latest collection will showcase Häusler’s works and feature British talent including the late Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead captured at his favourite Los Angeles hangout, a world first unveiling of a 3D life size print of Queen’s Brian May plus other international artists from the world of music, acting and entertainment.

With Häusler having shot the album photography for Meat Loaf’s upcoming album ‘Braver Than We Are’ (out in the UK on Friday 9th September), there will also be exclusive prints from the shoot on display to mark the release.

Sanctum Soho Hotel provides a natural setting for the Häusler’s debut exhibition in London, with both music and imagery being at the very heart of the hotel’s décor and ambience.

The installation will be opened with a launch event on Thursday 8th September at 7.00pm, which invited guests are welcome to attend and members of the public will be able to enjoy the works from that same evening, with prints located throughout the hotel in the lobby, restaurant/bar and roof terrace. There is no admission charge for visitors wishing to view the prints.
