We got some more information from Mike:

Poster for Man of Steel will be 1000 photos making up Meat's face.
A Mercury Record's logo appears on bottom, the rules are confirmed as already stated:

Scanned JPEG .
Maximum Filesize 5MB.
First 1000 photos to be chosen.
Closing date 7 November.
Sending photo gives permission for it to be used.
