I've just seen Spice World...it was a little disturbing watching ML driving the bus for Spice Girls...although I understand it was all a joke and tongue-in-cheek...and still...it almost felt like it should have been the other way around...

Last movie I saw was the second half of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang yesterday on ITV! Liked the stage version better: you got to see a lot more of the car and the music was more OTT in the stage version.

R.V.

I just saw it this past Saturday. It's very slapstick and crass, but I rather like that in a movie sometimes. I laughed until I was dizzy, if you want a laugh I'd recommend it.

Roadie. Very funny, a real 'feel-good' film.

(Makes a nice change watching a Meaty film where he does not get killed!!)

He got the best lines in the movie.

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone - W. H. Auden

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
