An Inconvenient Truth (2006).

A very good film I think with some real eye openers, especially about Antartica and the North Pole. Leaves you with some mixed feelings though about the future of our planet and what we are all doing to it. Al Gore is a good man in my opinion and should have been president. I think the whole world would have benefited from that.
The Melissa Etheridge song: "I need to Wake up" is great and the end titles have been done quite well to leave you with some positive things to take away.

YouTube Video

Good documentary and certainly worthy of the oscars it got.

funny you mention that...I thought the movie was very good, but the only thing I didnt like was the ending. Much too melodramatic for my taste, especially for a documentary.

Seen the dark night today, veeeeery good.

It's just after 1 am here and I've finally seen the movie!!!

Anyway, I was asked to give my opinion of the movie - Tropic Thunder.

Movies are expensive here...so if they are also expensive over there...this movie is for DVD watchers...all I can say is...it had a potential to be a good movie...

It is still worth watching for 2 reasons: Robert Downey Jr. and (I thought I would never utter these two words in my life but here it is...) Tom Cruise...

And thus spake Zee...

I love Robert Downey Jr... (back to having the thing about bad boys, aren't we?) Didn't realize Tom was in it tho'...

Last film for me was The Time Machine with Guy Pearce and Samantha Mumba...

I just checked imdb and I had no idea how many celebs are actually in this movie

Chock full of celebrities...but only two truly notable...Ben Stiller sometimes gets too full of himself...as it is in this case...

He was in it but it wasn't such a great part for him to be 100% Jack Black...

The Godfather

excellent movie! (first time I've seen it)

Especially Al Pacino's performance, the way he portrayed Michael's change from the happy young man to the cold gangster boss was brilliant.

Face/Off. Still such an excellent movie with John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. And amazing to watch on Blue Ray with that thunderous sound. Always found the ending too cheesy and a bit ridiculous in a way, haven't changed my opinion on that.

Batman The Dark Night. Yes I agree a really, really good flick. A bit confusing at the beginning I thought. Heath Ledger's performance of the joker is indeed very special. I wouldn't go as far to say that this is the best film ever made, but certainly one of my favourites of the year. Perhaps a bit overhyped to make a huge impact on me now.

Hellboy 2. Funny and entertaining to a certain extent. Not really my type of movie, sorry. Was just about watchable for me, pretty much the same as part 1. If you are ok to expect ridiculous things then you'll be fine.

According to IMDB it is the third best film of all time.

(talking about over-hyping lol)

Vantage Point ( 2008 )

Great film I thought, with some interesting twists. Very cool car chase as well.
