King Kong was the last film I saw in the cinema - definately worth seeing, but I agree with what others have said about there being too much dinosaur stuff! Also there seemed to be holes in the film, for example they didn't even mention how they moved King Kong off Skull Island to New York

Last DVD I watched was Crash (2004) - fantastic film

Half an hour of Phantom of the opera on DVD. There was a power cut on our little part of a four mile long street, and in desperation we watched the first half hour of it on my new portable DVD player on a 7 inch screen set up on the table so it looked like a 1 inch screen Chandelier part (best bit of the movie) wasn't quite as effective as it had been on the cinema screen!

been a busy cinema-goer this week.

Howl's moving castle - a wonderful film, well animated, good characters. ending seemed a little rushed and contrived.

Jarhead - Interesting, not quite what i expected.

Derailed - reasonable way to pass the time, fairly predictable. only one twist that i didn't spot. however it has prooved that Jennifer Anniston could actually be ok in a serious role.

think i might have to go see March of the Penguins and Casanova next week...

That's an absolutely gorgeous film. Eat your heart out Walt.

Not as good as Sprited Away, but pretty much anything Miyazaki puts out is worth watching.

Sorry, I seem to have goofed here. LOL

The Chronicles of Narnia was a brilliant movie of a brilliant story, but my guess is you don't need to hear that twice. Humble apologies.

I saw The Chronicles of Narnia the last time I went to the theatre. A brilliant movie, adapated from a brilliant story.

I agree Keab42.. WTL was a great movie!!

The last movie I saw.. "Final Destination 3". If you liked the first 2 films, you will most likely like this one. They have upped the gore factor in this one, so be prepared.

Curious.. Where did you see this Chris? I thought Pirates2 wasn't going to be released until this coming summer.
