It was really good. I managed to get off work at 11 in the morning so I could get home for the start at 12. Meat entertained all day and I thought it was ace when Bat was being played in the cart. Meat was singing along quite enthusiastically aswell which I thought was great. I have to say, I felt sorry for the guy he rugby tackled, but began to laugh when he started rolling him down the hill.

The Americans lost and I think Meat took the news suprisingly lightly. He got a lot of cheers from the crowd at the end aswell which I was happy about. Well done Meat!

I missed that bit at first as was only listening to the TV for a while, only saw the guy on the ground and knew it would be Meat's doing, but then saw it twice in the montages at the end of the show!

An excellent few days entertainment overall. Pity someone had to lose. Anyway Meat certainly was great entertainment (how I am sorry I did not decide to go along). Here's to next year and I hope Meat will take part again (time permitting if a tour is happening).

this has been some great publicity for meat and he has some brilliant air time. he has been the most entertainin person there and this is great promotion (if u can call it that) 4 bat 3. however the only time bat 3 was mentiond was when they intervewed a lady and she was there 4 meat and she mentiond the new album in october.

Meat just won an award and knowbody knew what it was for, but hey, it's still great. Plus, Chris Evans gave Meat a huge compliment by saying "for about three decades I used to think Meat had a huge ego, in a good way...... but now Ive met him, I've realised all he does is give, give, give, all the time"!

Has ANYONE taped this to be converted for watching?

It's been great to have a nearly play-by-play of Meat at the tournament. Let's hope there will be clips for posterity, and so we can join in the laughter at his reported antics.

What was the award??

The award was called the 'Anything you can do I can do better' award. However, nobody had a clue what it actually meant, LOL. Sorry I haven't recorded any of the show which is unfortunate because Meat was great. I hope, for your sake someone taped it.

Unfortunately I missed all of todays golf, which I'm rather upset about!
Sounds like it was fantastic though even if Europe did win, and Meat was definitely the most entertaining to watch yesterday.

LMFAO!!!!!

It is great to see Meat won even if he and everyone else has no clue what it was for, it's very awesome all the same!
Well Done Meat!

Who else found this highly amusing...

His ball went into someone's shopping bag!
Got out an item it was Scotch eggs then instead of finding the ball he takes the entire carrier bag of food, runs to the green and empties the entire contents right by the hole!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!

More pics to come...!

Europe trounced the US just like what'll happen in the Ryder Cup this October!

Meat was driven up the 18th Fairway in a mini-hummer by Monty with the CD Player blasting out Bat Out of Hell. Classic TV.

I have recorded this using Windows Media Center, but when I go to convert it, it says, this file is protected, and any unauthorised use or display blah blah blah is unlawful, that is in short, and it won't let me convert file to anything smaller, and I hyave about 12 gig of footage overall.

Is this the type of error message you get

The content owner or broadcaster has limited the playback of TV content. Some shows or portions of a recorded show might be restricted to playback on the Media Center PC that it was recorded on. If you attempt to play the recorded TV file on another PC, then Media Center notifies you that the recorded TV file is restricted content and you cannot play it.

Or it may be that the file is just too big to be converted Have you tried contacting Microsoft Maybe they can help ...

The whole thing was great. Meat really brought alot of energy and entertainment to the event. His golf is good too. The last half hour or so was magic. To team him against Chris Evans was perfect. The crowds following them during the day will really have good memories of the day. They were having so much fun and the crowd was fully involved, which we would expect from Meat. I hope he's has a really enjoyable weekend because it has brought pleasure to many. Well done Meat!

The 'public' just love to see 'star's' and idols enjoying themselves and being completely relaxed. Thats what was happening especially with Meat Loaf throughout and later today, everyone else. The stars are real people, the more they enjoy themselves the more the crowd does. But they played the game serious aswell. It was great to watch, I would have loved to have been there.....
