Yeah agree - Do It - Cannot understand what the reasoning for this song could have been, the CHSIB album is great and I really like it, but Do It just seems to have been an after thought or something.

I belive Meat always has to have a "Rocker" like he said in an interview about Lemon with Bat 2. He's done that since Bat 2 with every album (WTTN's was Redlight and Bat 3's was Brake It). Do It is CHSIB's.

Based on the songs I skip when listening to an album then i'm sorry to say that Future from Bat III would be on the list

I really like TFAWIUTB, but i love Jennifers voice, hubby is not keen on this track for the reasons you said Luce.

That said I'm not a fan of the overall song either, I much prefer the Pan Box version, already because of the amazing, epic intro. Meat's version to me sounds, like most of the Bat3/Steinman stuff, like a cheap, mainstream rip-off of the original version. ![]() |

yeah I kinda get to the end of bat 3 and have no real inclination to listen to the versions of cry to heaven and the future...i meat's version is probably ten years too late

I agree but with this said...Jennifer Hudson does have an amazing voice which is actually not even recognizable in this duet...I don't know what went wrong there...to me it seems like production or something...

I think part of the problem is that The Future and IACBTMN are better as solo songs and not duets. WAL was written to be a duet and it works well. Plus Patti and Meat not only have chemistry on stage but their vocals have a good chemistry. Their voices blend together into one powerful voice. Marion's and Jennifer's voices didn't blend well with Meat's, imo.

I think The Future actually is a group song but I don't like the duet it was made into...if you know what I mean...there are duets and then there are duets... I know I will be quartered for this...but the more I've listened to WAL, the less I liked it...now if I listen to that album I just skip it completely...with this said...I do think that Patti's voice is very suitable for duets with Meat... |

Blind before I Stop has some real great songs. Most all of the songs from Bat 3 really suck.

![]() Well, I think Future together with Cry to heaven are the worst songs I have ever heard from the Loaf. They are terrible. |

worse than special girl, man and a woman, never be too sure about the girl, etc, etc etc?
Okay, cry to heaven maybe ![]() my point is, you might not think bat3 is great (me neither), but you still have to see it in perspective and dont damn every single song as the worst ever. |

I like special Girl. It is a nice song. The production is rather soft, but it is better by far than the production/arrangements on Future and Cry to heaven
