I went to a Garden Show at the weekend..as well as garden things they also had art and craft stalls, jewellery , sculptures etc.
One persons sculptures were really lovely and very unusual.
Each sculpture was an interesting shaped piece of natural stone and the centre had been cut away and simple styalised, intertwined figures carved in to it. The carved centre was highly polished, smooth stone which made a beautiful contrast to the outer rough, natural stone.
Very hard for me to describe them properly in words....but they were very beautiful and appealing.

Hi Tim and Bren, Can you help me?

I looking to find out the title of a particular piece of art by WILLIAM MORRIS

description as follows:- Angel reaching out to young Lady - background of roses.

Not much to go on I know, have checked everywhere I can think of on the Net. Even Ellis's tutor does not know the title of this piece of work - but it is essential evidently to his HND coursework.

Any asisstance would be gratefully received

thanks to you both.

I found that site on Mr. Whelan, I have to say he is a really great artist. What Tim or Bren, what are the chances of Mr. Whelan doing the cover art for Bat III? Or would Mr. Richard Corben do it again.

I hope one of them will. Preferebly Mr. Whellan.

If I may add, I recently made a warhol-esque image of Meat in the 1977 days. If I can get a picture on here I will. Cheers.

Can anyone tell me the name of DaVinci's paiting, it has a female carrying a child, the child has in it's hand a crucifix made of sticks and twine, I think. Probably repreenting the Virgin and Christ...
It was stolen some time ago but it's my favourite DaVinci piece.
